पलकों से पता चला था वो बहुत रोए थे 

धीमी सी आहट से उनके करीब आना चाहा 

जाने क्यों ऐसा लगा कि वो हमे याद करते करते सोए थे ...

जाने क्यों इतना याद आते हो आप 

जाने क्यों दिल को इतना तड़पाते हो आप 

आपसे प्यारा कोई ना मिलेगा कहीं 

शायद इस बात का इतना फायदा उठाते हो आप ...

सबके हाथो में कुछ लकीरे है 

बनती जिनसे सबकी तकदीरे है 

दुआ है आपके हाथो में वो लकीर कुछ खास हो 

जिसमे लिखा हो सारी दुनिया कि खुशिया आपके पास हो ,,

राज ऐ दिल ना सुनाना किसी को यारो 

दुनिया में सब हमराज बदल जाते है 

किसी के बिछड़ने से कोई मर नहीं जाता 

हाँ मगर जीने का अंदाज बदल जाते है ...

एक लफ्ज उनको सुनाने के लिए 

कितने अल्फाज लिखे हमने जमाने के लिए 

उनका मिलना ही मुकद्दर में ना था 

वरना क्या कुछ नहीं किया उन्हें पाने के लिए ...

वरना हर खुसी में पी के बवाल कौन करेगा ,,

यादो ने पास आकर कुछ यूँ गन गुना दिया 

जैसे किसी ने भुला हुआ वो फ़साना सुना दिया 

जाने क्या बात थी उस गुजरे फ़साने में 

कि दिल रोया और चेहरा खिला दिया ...

उस पार ही सही किनारा तो है 

टीम टीमाता ही सही सितारा तो है 

हो जाती है तसल्ली आपको याद करके 

दूर ही सही कोई हमारा तो है ...

भूले है वो कुछ इस तरह से हमे 

अब इंतज़ार करना हमारा नसीब हो गया 

ना जाने कोई खता हो गयी हमसे 

या कोई और हमसे भी करीब हो गया ...
