There was a mighty demon named Taraka sur. He had created an outcry all around in the universe. He had a boon from Brahma that he would die by the son of Shiva. After the marriage of Shiva Parvati, when his son Kartik Maharaj was born. Then Kartik Maharaj fought with Taraka sur and killed him. All the gods and goddesses hailed Kartik Maharaj. Taraka sur had three sons. Tarakaksha, Kamalaksha and Vidunmali. The three sons together wanted to avenge the death of their father Tarakasur. The three brothers together did hard penance for Brahmaji. Pleased with his penance, Brahmaji appeared to him. And asked him to ask for a boon. All three of them asked for the boon of being immortal. Brahmaji said that it is impossible, the one who has taken birth in this world is sure to die. That's why I cannot give you this boon. Ask for some more boon. After this, the three brothers asked for a boon that we should die in that situation when all three of us are together. And the three brothers demanded the construction of separate buildings for themselves. Tarakaksha asked for gold, Kamalaksha asked for silver, and Vidunmali asked for an iron building. Brahmaji said good. I hope so. Saying this, Brahma ji became meditative. Now the three brothers thought that from now on all three of them would be separate. Neither the three of us will be together nor will we die. The three brothers started living separately. The fear of death was over from the inside of the three brothers. Therefore all the three brothers used to trouble all the deities. All the Gods were wailing. Unrighteousness was spread all around. All the Gods together went to Shiva. and told his problem. Shiva said that you take the form of all animals and I will be the master of all of you. All the gods did the same. All the Gods and Goddesses took the form of animals and created a stir in the three worlds and took the three brothers out of their buildings and gathered them at one place. Then Shiva took the form of Nandi. Shiva struck Tarakaksha and Vidunmali with his horns. In this, Kamalaksha came from behind and hit the head of Nandi form of Shiva, then he fell in Nepal after cutting his head. Where Shiva is worshiped as Pashupatinath. And that Nandi form of Shiva whose head was cut off is worshiped in Kedarnath. Then Shiva came in anger and made his real form and killed the three brothers with his trident. Being the owner of all the animals, Lord Shiva came to know where Pashupatinath is. After the killing of the three brothers, all the Gods returned in their form. And there was hailing of Shiva all around. The Gods and Goddesses showered flowers. Gandharvas started singing. Apsaras started dancing. All the Gods went to their respective worlds after being pleased.

So devotees, this was the story of Lord Shiva taking the form of Pashupatinath. Whenever there is a crisis on this creation, Lord Shiva takes any form to protect his devotees.

3 friends | Gyan Ganga | three friends of human |

Once upon a time there was a man. He had three friends. The four of them had a very close friendship. One day the man fell very ill. He got his treatment done by many Vaidyas of the village. But no one could trace his illness. In the end all the doctors said that we will not be able to save it. Saying this all the doctors went to their homes. When the man felt that his last time had come, he called his three friends to him and asked his first friend how much you love me. So he said I love you the most. So the man said will you support me even after death? The friend took his step back and said that I can support you only till this birth. The man asked the same question to his other friend that will you accompany me even after death? So another friend said that I will do your last rites in a good way when you die. But I cannot promise you that I will support you even after death. Then the man asked his third friend whether you would accompany me even after death. So the third friend said, I have definitely supported you for life and will give it to you even after death. The man becomes happy. Friends, this is our life, in our life also we have three friends money, family and karma. Our first friend i.e. money is with us as long as we are in this world. Money doesn't matter after our death. Our second friend is the family, who support us throughout our life and after our death, after performing our last rites, liberates us. And after that they are of no importance to us. But our third friend i.e. karma is the one who always stays with us throughout our life and even after we die. That is why one should always do good deeds in life because there is only one karma which supports us even after death.

The Story of the Emperor and the Bodh Bhikkhu

Once upon a time there was an emperor. He was very brave and powerful. He also had a very kind heart. He used to keep his subjects very happy. He was by far the most beloved and successful ruler of his reign. He also had a son. Like his father, he also wanted to be a successful ruler and loved by all. But the work that he would do to become good in the eyes of everyone, there would have been some deficiency in it. So that he became very restless and used to get upset thinking about his lack throughout the day. He wondered what to do so that he could become like his father. In those days a Buddhist monk was coming to his town with his disciples. Buddhist monks were very knowledgeable. The prince went to the Buddhist monk to solve his problem. Going to the Buddhist monk, the prince bowed to him with folded hands. The Buddhist monk asked the prince the reason for his coming. Then the prince told all his problems to him. The Buddhist monk said I can solve your problem. But you have to pay some price for it. The prince said with great pride that I am the son of the king, I can pay any price. The Buddhist monk said that here the price does not mean any gold or silver, but you have to do one thing without asking me any question. After thinking something, the prince said yes. The Buddhist monk said that you have to go to a big junk shop in the market. And he has to bring some bad iron from him. The prince asked if he could get the old iron from his servants. The Buddhist monk refused and said that only you have to go there on foot and bring the old iron. The prince went on foot. The prince was feeling very sad because he had never walked outside the palace. Whenever he went out of the palace, he always went by chariot and horse ride. But today he was walking in the scorching sun. While walking, he thought that everyone is watching me, what would they be thinking about me that the son of the king is walking on foot. Somewhere the king did not remove it from the palace. Seeing all the people on the way, this thought was coming in my mind again and again that what all of them must be thinking of me. Finally he reached a junk shop. Going to the scrap shop, he asked for a bad iron from him. Even there, he was thinking the same thing about what the scrap dealer would have thought of me. The scrap dealer gave him a bad iron and the prince came to the Buddhist monk with him. Now the Buddhist monk asked him to go to a blacksmith shop. And said that he made a sword out of it and brought it. The prince went to the blacksmith's shop. Going there, the prince started making swords by melting iron. When he made a sword, he was very happy to see that sword and he felt that while he was making a sword. So no thought of any kind came in his mind. He was getting very happy seeing the sword that he had made this sword with his own hands. With that sword he went to the Buddhist monk. The Buddhist monk said that now you have to do one more thing, you have to go back to the scrap dealer and whatever shopkeepers or people you saw on the way. Ask him about himself whether he saw you here a while back. The prince goes back to the scrap shop. He goes there and asks the scrap dealer what he was thinking about when he was taking the iron goods. So the scrap dealer said that seeing his expensive clothes, he thought that he was from some rich family, just after that I got busy in my work. After that he didn't think anything. After that the prince went to a shopkeeper and asked the shopkeeper whether you had seen him here a while back. The shopkeeper said no, I did not see you. There were so many customers coming to my shop. I was busy with them. Then the prince asked some people on the way whether they had seen him here a while back. So those people said that no, we did not see you here. We were all busy with our work. Then the prince came to the Buddhist monk and told everything. Then the Buddhist monk said that this prince is the solution to your problem. The prince said that but I did not understand anything. Then he said that when we do any work, then our attention should be in that work. We should not think about what other people will think about us and yes, if there is something missing in our work, instead of thinking about that deficiency again and again, we should think about correcting that deficiency. That if we do this work again, then we should not make this mistake. Rather, it is not that the whole day, thinking about that deficiency, spoil your whole day or keep your mind disturbed. Which will not work. They think badly about other people, so we should focus on our work. The prince understood the point of the Buddhist monk, the Buddhist monk said that when you were making a sword, did any thought arise in your mind, then the prince said – No, at that time my focus was on making the sword. So the Buddhist monk said that whenever you have any bad thoughts or some kind of ocean of thoughts, then you should engage in some artistic work. Any favorite work that you wish to do. This is the solution to your problem. The prince understood the point of the Buddhist monk. Now he would come to the palace and work to please the subjects. Slowly his mind started to calm down and he was also happy.
