Where is heaven? स्वर्ग कहा है ?

बहुत पहले की बात है विजयनगर नाम का एक राज्य था। वहां के राजा का नाम कृष्णदेव राय थे। वे अपनी प्रजा के लिए एक महान राजा थे। राजा कृष्णदेव के पास बुद्धिमान मंत्रियो की कोई कमी नही थी। पर तेनाली रामा सबसे तेज और बुद्धिमान मंत्री थे।  एक दिन  राजा कृष्णदेव ने भरी सभा में अपने सभी दरबारियों और उपस्थित लोगों से कहा की मैंने बचपन में सुना था कि स्वर्ग एक ऐसी जगह है जो की बहुत सुन्दर है।क्या कोई मुझे स्वर्ग दिखा सकता है? जब किसी ने कोई जवाब नहीं दिया तो राजा ने तेनाली राम से पूछा कि क्या तुमको भी नहीं पता की स्वर्ग कहां है? तेनाली ने कहा कि महाराज मै आपको स्वर्ग दिखा सकता हूँ लेकिन उसके लिए मुझे 10000 सोने के सिक्के और छह महीने का समय चाहिए। उसकी इस बात पर सभी दरबारी हंसने लगे। राजा ने कहा कि ठीक है तुमने जो माँगा है वह तुमको मिलेगा । यदि तुम छह महीने बाद स्वर्ग दिखाने में असमर्थ रहे तो तुमको सजा मिलेगी। तेनाली राजा की बात पर सहमत हो गया और 10000 सोने के सिक्के लेकर चला गया। इसके बाद छह महीने पुरे हो गए । राजा बड़े गुस्से में थे कि तेनाली अभी तक नहीं आया। लेकिन तभी तेनाली दरबार में पहुंच गया। राजा ने तेनाली से पूछा कि क्या तुमने स्वर्ग ढूँढ लिया है? तेनाली ने कहा , जी महाराज, मैंने स्वर्ग ढूंढ लिया है कल मै आपको स्वर्ग के दर्शन कराऊंगा। अगले दिन राजा अपने कुछ मंत्रियो के साथ तेनाली के साथ चल पड़े। तेनाली राम उनको दूर लेकर गए। कुछ समय बाद एक ऐसी जगह आयी जो  कि बहुत शांत और अच्छी थी। तेनाली ने कहा की महाराज आप यहाँ पर कुछ देर आराम कर लीजिये इसके बाद हम आगे स्वर्ग के लिए जायेंगे। राजा ने तेनाली की बात मानकर सेनिकों से कहा कि यहाँ पर मेरे आराम की व्यवस्था की जाये। इसके बाद सेनिको ने राजा के आराम करने के लिए तम्बू बना दिए। राजा ने एक मंत्री से कहा की कितनी अच्छी जगह है कितनी शांत है हरे भरे पेड़, नदी और पक्षियों की आवाज़। पहले किसी ने मुझको इस जगह के बारे में क्यों नहीं बताया। इसके बाद मंत्री ने कहा महाराज वो सब तो ठीक है लेकिन तेनाली ने आपको स्वर्ग दिखाने के लिए कहा था। राजा ने पूछा तेनाली कहां  है। कुछ देर के बाद तेनाली आ गया। उसके हाथ में आम थे। तेनाली ने राजा से कहा महाराज आप इन आम को खा लीजिये। राजा ने आम खाये और कहा आम तो बहुत मीठे है। राजा ने कहा  तेनाली तुम हमको स्वर्ग के लिए कब लेकर जाओगे। तेनाली ने कहा महाराज यह इतनी सुन्दर और शांत जगह है जहाँ पर हरे भरे पेड़ पौधे है, नदी है, पक्षी है और इन मीठे आम के पेड़ है। यह जगह स्वर्ग से भी अच्छी है। स्वर्ग तो हमने देखा भी नहीं है। राजा तेनाली की बात पर सहमत हो गए और कहा लेकिन तेनाली तुमने उन 10000 सोने के सिक्को का क्या किया।तेनाली ने कहा की महाराज मैंने उनसे बीज और पौधे ख़रीदे है। जो की हम पुरे विजयनगर में लगाकर विजयनगर के सभी लोगों को स्वर्ग का अहसास करा सकते है। इस पर राजा तेनाली रामा से खुश हो गए और उनकी प्रशंसा की।

Where is heaven?

Long ago there was a kingdom named Vijayanagara. The name of the king there was Krishna Deva Raya. He was a great king for his subjects. King Krishnadev had no shortage of wise ministers. But Tenali Rama was the fastest and wisest minister. One day King Krishnadeva told all his courtiers and people present in a packed meeting that I had heard in my childhood that heaven is a place which is very beautiful. Can anyone show me heaven? When no one answered, the king asked Tenali Rama that do you not even know where the heaven is? Tenali said that sir I can show you heaven but for that I need 10000 gold coins and six months time. All the courtiers started laughing at this. The king said that okay you will get what you have asked for. If you are unable to show heaven after six months, you will be punished. Tenali agreed to the king's words and went away with 10000 gold coins. After that six months passed. The king was very angry that Tenali had not come yet. But then Tenali reached the court. The king asked Tenali that have you found heaven? Tenali said, Sir, I have found heaven, tomorrow I will show you heaven. The next day the king along with some of his ministers left with Tenali. Tenali Rama took them away. After some time a place came which was very quiet and nice. Tenali said that you take rest here for some time, after which we will go to heaven. The king obeyed Tenali and told the soldiers that arrangements should be made for my rest here. After this the soldiers made tents for the king to rest. The king told a minister that what a nice place, how quiet is the green trees, the river and the sound of birds. Why didn't anyone tell me about this place before? After this the minister said that all is fine, but Tenali had asked to show you heaven. The king asked where is Tenali. After sometime Tenali came. He had mangoes in his hand. Tenali said to the king, sir, you should eat these mangoes. The king ate mangoes and said that mangoes are very sweet. The king said Tenali, when will you take us to heaven. Tenali said, "Maharaj, this is such a beautiful and peaceful place where there are green trees, plants, rivers, birds and these sweet mango trees. This place is better than heaven. We have not even seen heaven. The king agreed to Tenali's point and said but Tenali what did you do with those 10000 gold coins. Tenali said that Maharaj, I have bought seeds and plants from him. Which we can make all the people of Vijayanagar feel heaven by putting it in the whole of Vijayanagara. On this the king was pleased with Tenali Rama and praised him.

कैसे लेते है भगवान परीक्षा। भगवान की परीक्षा | How does God take the test? God's Test

एक समय की बात है शंकर भगवान और माता पार्वती पृथ्वी लोक की यात्रा के लिए निकले। तभी माता पार्वती जी ने दूर से एक आदमी को भूख से तड़पते देखा। उसे तड़पते हुए देख कर भी भगवान शंकर आगे बढ़ गए। पार्वती जी को आश्चर्य हो रहा था और उनसे रहा नहीं गया । उन्होंने भगवान शंकर से प्रश्न किया कि क्यो ? भगवान शंकर ने उस आदमी के प्रति दया नहीं दिखाई । जबकि उन्हें तो करुणासागर कहा जाता है। तब  शंकर भगवान बोले तुम जानती नहीं हो । इस आदमी की यही आदत है । इस आदमी की सहायता हेतु मैंने कई बार परीक्षा ली ।लेकिन हर बार यह परीक्षा में असफल साबित हुआ।  पार्वती जी को विश्वास नहीं हुआ और उन्होंने शंकर भगवान से उस आदमी की दोबारा सहायता करने का निवेदन किया । भगवान शंकर ने उस आदमी की सहायता के लिए किसी दानी सेठ को भोजन लेकर भेजा ।उस दानी सेठ ने उस भूखे आदमी को बहुत सारा भोजन दिया । और  मिठाईयों के डिब्बे भी उसको दिए ।अचानक बहुत सारी मिठाइयों और भोजन को देखकर वह खुश हो गया और तुरंत अपने पेट की भूख शांत कर ली । दानी सेठ वहां से चला गया। इसके पश्चात भगवान शंकर एक भिखारी का रूप धारण करके उसके पास पहुंचे  । भगवान शंकर बोले कि मुझे बहुत भूख लग रही है । मैंने कई दिनों से कुछ नहीं खाया । क्या आपके पास कुछ भोजन सामग्री है तो कृपया मुझे थोड़ी सी दे दो । मेरी भूख शांत हो जाएगी । परंतु उस व्यक्ति ने कहा कि मेरे पास कुछ भोजन आदि नहीं है । मैं स्वयं ही दो दिन से भूखा बैठा हूं ।यह कहकर भगवान शंकर जो भिखारी बने हुए थे , उन्होंने कहा – कि जाओ ऐसा ही हो । ऐसा कहते ही भगवान शंकर वहां से अंतर्ध्यान हो गए । और माता पार्वती के पास पहुंचे । तब उस आदमी ने देखा कि उसके पास जो भोजन और मिठाई बची हुई थी वह सब गायब हो गई ।और उसके पेट में फिर से भूख लगने लगी थी।  तब भगवान शंकर माता पार्वती से बोले कि – पार्वती,  उस इंसान ने अपने पास भोजन होते हुए भी भोजन देने से मना कर दिया। जब वह अपने पास भोजन होते हुए भी किसी की भूख नहीं शांत कर सकता ।तो उसकी भूख कैसे शांत होगी? इसीलिए मैंने उस आदमी को जब भूख से तड़पते देखा तो उसकी कोई मदद नहीं की । और आगे चल पड़ा था । क्योंकि मैं उसके व्यवहार के बारे में जानता था ।  तब माता पार्वती जी और भगवान शंकर  कैलाश पर्वत की ओर चल दिए ।

  इस कहानी से हमें यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि हमें एक दूसरे की सहायता करनी चाहिए। अगर हम किसी की भूख को शांत कर पाए तो इससे अच्छी सहायता कुछ और नहीं हो सकती । भगवान उसी की मदद करते हैं जो दूसरों की मदद करते हैं भगवान उस पर अपनी कृपा दृष्टि हमेशा बनाए रखते हैं ।

Once upon a time Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati went out to visit the earth. Then Mother Parvati ji saw a man suffering from hunger from afar. Seeing him suffering, Lord Shankar went ahead. Parvati ji was surprised and could not stay away from him. He asked Lord Shankar why? Lord Shankar did not show mercy to that man. Whereas he is called Karunasagar. Then Lord Shankar said you do not know. This is the habit of this man. To help this man, I took the test many times. But every time it proved to be a failure in the exam. Parvati ji could not believe it and requested Lord Shankar to help the man again. Lord Shankar sent a donor Seth with food to help that man. That Dani Seth gave a lot of food to that hungry man. And also gave him boxes of sweets. Suddenly he became happy seeing a lot of sweets and food and immediately quenched the hunger of his stomach. Dani Seth left from there. After this Lord Shankar took the form of a beggar and approached him. Lord Shankar said that I am feeling very hungry. I haven't eaten anything for many days. Do you have some food stuff, please give me some. My hunger will be quenched. But the person said that I do not have any food etc. I myself have been starving for two days. By saying this, Lord Shankar, who had become a beggar, said – go and be like this. Lord Shankar disappeared from there as soon as he said this. And reached Mata Parvati. Then the man noticed that all the food and sweets he had left with him had disappeared. And his stomach started feeling hungry again. Then Lord Shankar said to Mother Parvati that – Parvati, that person, despite having food with him, refused to give food. When he cannot satisfy the hunger of anyone even though he has food with him. How will his hunger be quenched? That is why when I saw that man suffering from hunger, I did not help him. And went on. Because I knew about his behavior. Then Mata Parvati ji and Lord Shankar walked towards Mount Kailash.

  This story teaches us that we should help each other. If we can quench someone's hunger, nothing can be of better help than this. God helps those who help others, God always keeps his graceful eyes on them.

सच्ची विजय क्या। क्या है सच्ची जीत | What is the real victory? what is true victory ?

सच्ची विजय क्या है? संत एकनाथ जी से 

पुराने समय मे एकनाथ नाम के एक महान संत हुआ करते थे। एक दिन वह कहीं जा रहे थे तभी उनकी नजर एक मायूस व्यक्ति पर पड़ी तो वह उसके पास थोड़ी ही दूरी पर जाकर खड़े हो गए। तभी वो व्यक्ति संत एकनाथ जी के पास गया और बोला, नाथ! आपका जीवन कितना मधुर है। आप अपने जीवन से कितना संतुष्ट हैं। लेकिन हमें तो शांति एक क्षण भी प्राप्त नहीं होती। मेरा मन हमेशा बेचैन रहता है । कृपया मेरा मार्गदर्शन करें।

 

तभी संत एकनाथ जी ने कुछ समय विचार किया और उस व्यक्ति को कहा कि तू तो अब आठ ही दिनों का मेहमान है, अतः पहले की ही भांति अपना जीवन व्यतीत कर। संत की यह बात सुनते ही वह व्यक्ति उदास हो गया। और वापस अपने घर की ओर जाने लगा।

रास्ते में उसने सोचा कि मैंने अपनी जिंदगी में कितने बुरे कर्म किए हैं। मैंने किसी को भी कोई खुशी नहीं दी और सब की निंदा की है । मुझे मेरी गलतियों की ही सजा मिल रही है।  मैं अब अपनी सारी गलतियों का पश्चाताप करूंगा। और जिस जिसका दिल मैंने दुखाया है उन सब से माफी मांग लूंगा। शायद इससे ही मेरे पापों का प्रायश्चित हो जाए। और मरने के बाद मुझे स्वर्ग की प्राप्ति हो। 

घर में वह पत्नी से जाकर बोला, मैंने तुम्हें कई बार बहुत सारा कष्ट दिया है। मुझे क्षमा करो। फिर बच्चों से बोला, बच्चों, मैंने तुम्हें कई बार बेवजह पीटा है, मुझे उसके लिए माफ कर दो। जिन लोगों से उसने दुर्व्यवहार किया था, सबसे माफी मांगी। इस तरह आठ दिन व्यतीत हो गए और आठवें दिन के शाम के समय  वह एकनाथजी के पास दुबारा पहुंचा और बोला, नाथ, मेरी अंतिम घड़ी के लिए कितना समय शेष है? तब संत जी  मुस्कुरा कर बोले कि तेरी अंतिम घड़ी तो परमेश्वर ही बता सकता है, किंतु यह आठ दिन तेरे कैसे व्यतीत हुए? भोग-विलास और आनंद तो किया ही होगा? व्यक्ति बोला कि क्या बताऊं नाथ, मुझे इन आठ दिनों में मृत्यु के अलावा और कोई चीज दिखाई नहीं दे रही थी। इसीलिए मुझे अपने द्वारा किए गए सारे दुष्कर्म स्मरण हो आए और उसके पश्चाताप में ही आठ दिन कैसे बीत गए पता ही नही चला। फिर संत एकनाथ जी ने कहा कि जिस बात को ध्यान में रखकर तूने यह आठ दिन बिताए हैं, हम साधु लोग इसी को सामने रखकर सारे काम किया करते हैं। यह देह क्षणभंगुर है, इसे मिट्टी में मिलना ही है। इसलिए जिंदगी में अच्छे कर्म करो ताकि भविष्य में तुम्हे तुम्हारे अच्छे कर्मों का फल मिले। किसी व्यक्ति या संत का गुलाम बनने की जगह परमेश्वर का गुलाम बनो। सबके साथ समान भाव रखने में ही जीवन की सार्थकता है।

दोस्तों अगर हम अपनी जिंदगी में अच्छे कर्म करेंगे तो हमें उसका फल भी अच्छा ही मिलेगा । अतः हम भी शांति से अपना जीवन जी सकेंगे जैसे कि संत एकनाथ जी ने जिया ।  अपने मन, विचार और व्यवहार पर काबू पाना ही सच्ची विजय हैं।

In olden times there used to be a great saint named Eknath. One day he was going somewhere, when his eyes fell on a sad person, then he stood at a short distance beside him. Then that person went to Sant Eknath ji and said, Nath! How sweet is your life How satisfied are you with your life? But we do not get peace even for a moment. My mind is always restless. Please guide me.

 

Then Sant Eknath ji thought for some time and told that person that you are a guest for only eight days now, so live your life as before. The person became sad after hearing this talk of the saint. And started going back to his house.

On the way he thought about how many bad deeds I had done in my life. I have not given any happiness to anyone and have condemned everyone. I am getting punished for my mistakes. I will now repent of all my mistakes. And I will apologize to everyone whose heart I have hurt. Maybe this will atone for my sins. And after I die, I get to heaven.

In the house he went to his wife and said, I have given you a lot of trouble many times. I'm sorry Then he said to the children, children, I have beaten you unnecessarily many times, forgive me for that. He apologized to all those whom he had mistreated. Thus eight days passed and in the evening of the eighth day he again reached Eknathji and said, Nath, how much time is left for my last watch? Then the saint smiled and said that only God can tell your last moment, but how did you spend these eight days? Bhog-luxury and pleasure must have been done? The person said that what should I tell Nath, in these eight days I could not see anything other than death. That's why I remembered all the misdeeds I had done and how eight days passed in his repentance I did not even know. Then Sant Eknath ji said that keeping in mind you have spent these eight days, we saints do all the work keeping this in front. This body is fleeting, it has to be found in the soil. So do good deeds in life so that in future you will get the fruits of your good deeds. Instead of becoming a slave to a person or a saint, be a slave to God. The meaning of life is in having equal feelings with everyone.

Friends, if we do good deeds in our life, then we will get good results. So we too will be able to live our life in peace like Sant Eknath ji lived. True victory is the control over your mind, thoughts and behavior.

कैसे एक बैल ने तोड़ दिया सारा महल। शेख़चिल्ली और बैल

शेखचिल्ली और तेल 

एक दिन की बात है शेख चिल्ली सरसों का तेल बेचने के लिए जा रहा था । वह सिर पर तेल का बर्तन लेकर चलता था और चलते चलते मन ही मन मे सपने देखने लगा । वह सोचने लगा कि “मुझे तेल की अच्छी कीमत मिलेगी। मैं जो पैसा कमाने जा रहा हूँ उसका मैं क्या करूँगा?” बहुत सोचने पर भी उसके दिमाग में कुछ नहीं आ रहा था कि तभी वहां से बकरियों का झुंड गुजरा। और उसके मन में ख्याल आया कि “मैं इन पैसों से एक बकरी खरीद सकता हूँ। बकरी के बच्चे होंगे। मैं अच्छे पैसे के लिए बकरियां बेचूंगा। लेकिन फिर मैं उस पैसे का क्या करूँ?” शेख चिल्ली को आश्चर्य हुआ। तभी वहां से एक मवेशियों का झुंड गुजरा। शेख चिल्लो ने दिमाग लगया और कहा “अरे हाँ, मैं उस पैसे से एक गाय खरीद सकता हूँ। गाय मुझे दूध देगी। मैं दूध बेच दूंगा। उस पैसे से मैं एक खेत खरीदूंगा। मैं खेत जोतने के लिए एक जोड़ी बैल भी खरीदूंगा। फिर मैं फसल उगाऊँगा और एक लड़की से शादी करूँगा।” शेख चिल्ली चलते-चलते सपने देखता चला गया। पर रास्ते में ही एक बैल खड़ा था। उसने बैल को नहीं देखा। शेख चिल्ली बैल से टकरा गया। 

शेख चिल्ली जमींन पर गिर गया और उसका बर्तन टूट गया और तेल जमीन पर गिर गया। शेख चिल्ली भैंस को कोसने लगा। "तुम मूर्ख जानवर। तू ने मेरी ज़िंदगी बर्बाद की! तेरी वजह से मैंने अपना तेल खो दिया। और तेल के साथ साथ मैंने बकरी खो दी, मैंने गाय खो दी, मैंने अपना खेत और अपने बैल खो दिए। मैंने सब कुछ खो दिया!"

One day Sheikh Chilli was going to sell mustard oil. He used to walk with a pot of oil on his head and while walking he started dreaming in his mind. He started thinking that “I will get a good price for oil. What will I do with the money I'm going to earn?" Even after thinking a lot, nothing was coming in his mind that only then a herd of goats passed by. And a thought came to his mind that “I can buy a goat with this money. Goat will have babies. I will sell goats for good money. But then what do I do with that money?" Sheikh Chilli was surprised. Just then a herd of cattle passed by. Shaikh Chillo nodded and said “Oh yes, I can buy a cow with that money. The cow will give me milk. I will sell milk. With that money I will buy a farm. I will also buy a pair of oxen to plow the field. Then I will grow crops and marry a girl." Sheikh Chilli went on dreaming. But there was a bull standing in the way. He did not see the bull. Sheikh Chilli collided with the bull.

Sheikh Chilli fell on the ground and his pot broke and oil spilled on the ground. Sheikh Chilli started cursing the buffalo. "You foolish animal. You ruined my life! Because of you I lost my oil. And along with oil I lost the goat, I lost the cow, I lost my field and my bulls. I lost everything !"

How did a child and an old woman find God? कैसे एक बच्चे और एक बूढी औरत ने भगवान को ढूंढा ?

 एक बार की बात है राजू नाम का एक छोटा बच्चा होता है। वह अपन पिता से रोज पूछता है कि मै भगवान से कब मिलूगां।  मुझे उनसे मिलने की बहुत इच्छा हैं। और हर बार पिता बस एक ही बात कहते की बेटा भगवान कण- कण मे है। तुम भगवान को हर इंसान मे देख सकते हो। इसलिए राजू ने बालपन में सोच लिया कि उसे ईश्वर से मिलना है। राजू ने सुन रखा था कि ईश्वर दूर कहीं रहता है, इसलिए उसने ईश्वर से मिलने के लिए यात्रा की तैयारी शुरू की। उसने गठरी में कुछ खाद्य सामग्री बांधी और पीने के लिए दूध और जल लेकर ईश्वर से मिलने के लिए चल पड़ा। उस समय वह मात्र पांच वर्ष का ही था। अभी वह अपने घर से निकलकर जंगल की राह पर पहुंचा ही था कि उसे एक बुढी औरत दिखी, जो एक पत्थर पर बैठकर कबूतरों की और देख रही थी। राजू उस महिला के पास गया और उसके साथ ही उस पत्थर पर बैठ गया। कुछ देर बाद उसे भूख लगी तो उसने अपनी गठरी खोली और उसमें रखे कुछ व्यंजन खाकर दूध पीने लगा। महिला राजू को ध्यान से देख रही थी। राजू को लगा कि शायद महिला भी भूखी है इसलिए उसने अपने कुछ व्यंजन उस बूढ़ी महिला की तरफ बढ़ा दिए। बुढ़िया के चेहरे पर खूबसूरत मुस्कान फैल गई। राजू को लगा कि मानो उसने इस दुनिया की सबसे हसीन मुस्कान देखी हो। वह इसे फिर देखना चाहता था। उसने फिर से एक व्यंजन निकालकर आगे बढ़ा दिया। यह सिलसिला दोपहर तक चला। दोपहर में राजू थक गया और उठकर वापस घर की ओर चल दिया। घर पहुंचकर उसने दरवाजा खटखटाया। मां ने दरवाजा खोलकर उसे आश्चर्य से देखा और उसकी प्रसन्नता की वजह पूछी। राजू ने कहा कि पिता जी सही कहते है कि भगवान हम सबमे ही होते हैं। आज मै ईश्वर से मिलकर आया है और उसकी मुस्कान दुनिया में सबसे खूबसूरत है। राजू के चेहरे पर आई अभूतपूर्व शांति से मां आश्चर्यचकित थी। दूसरी ओर वृद्धा भी अपने घर देर से पहुंची तो बेटे ने मां से देर की वजह पूछी। मां ने कहा, आज मेरी मुलाकात ईश्वर से हुई। वह मेरी उम्मीद से काफी कम उम्र के थे।

 

दोस्तो भगवान को कण- कण मे समाये है। भगवान को ढुंढने की बजाए अगर आप अपने आस पास ही देखे तो आपको भगवान मिल जायेगे। बस जरूरत है तो एक बस एक नजरिये की जिस से आप भगवान को देख पाए।

How did a child and an old woman find God?

Once upon a time there was a small child named Raju. He asks his father everyday when will I meet God. I very much want to meet him. And every time the father says only one thing that the son God is in every particle. You can see God in every human being. So Raju thought in his childhood that he had to meet God. Raju had heard that God lives somewhere far away, so he started preparing for the journey to meet God. He tied some food items in the bundle and went to meet God with milk and water to drink. At that time he was only five years old. He had just left his house and reached the forest path when he saw an old woman, sitting on a stone, looking at the pigeons. Raju went to the woman and sat on the stone with her. After some time he felt hungry, so he opened his bale and after eating some dishes kept in it, he started drinking milk. The woman was watching Raju carefully. Raju felt that perhaps the woman was also hungry, so he extended some of his dishes to the old lady. A beautiful smile spread across the old woman's face. Raju felt as if he had seen the most beautiful smile in this world. He wanted to see it again. He again took out a dish and carried it forward. This went on till noon. In the afternoon Raju got tired and got up and went back towards home. When he reached home, he knocked on the door. The mother opened the door and looked at him in surprise and asked the reason for his happiness. Raju said that Father rightly says that God is in all of us. Today I have come to meet God and his smile is the most beautiful in the world. The mother was surprised by the unprecedented calmness on Raju's face. On the other hand, when the old lady also reached her house late, the son asked the mother the reason for the delay. Mother said, today I met God. He was much younger than I expected.

 

Friends, God is absorbed in every particle. Instead of looking for God, if you look around you, you will find God. All you need is just a point of view from which you can see God.

Identity of a true devotee. Who is the true devotee? सच्चे भक्त की पहचान। कौन है सच्चा भक्त।

 बात पुराने समय की है। एक बहुत गरीब औरत थी । कुछ समय पहले उसके पति का देहांत हो गया था । वह अकेले ही अपनी बेटी का पालन पोषण कर रही थी ।  वह गांव के लोगों के घरों में झाड़ू लगाने का काम करती थी । वह मां दुर्गा की भक्त थी । मां दुर्गा में पूर्ण श्रद्धा होने के कारण वह गांव के दुर्गा मंदिर में भी साफ सफाई काम करती थी । कुछ ही दिनों में नवरात्रि शुरू होने वाले थे । एक दिन उसकी बेटी बोली कि मां इस बार नवरात्र में मैं भी पूजा करूंगी और मां दुर्गा के व्रत रखूंगी । मां बोली– बेटी नवरात्रि के व्रत बहुत कठिन होते हैं । मैं तुम्हे व्रत के दिनों में क्या खिलाऊंगी । हमारे पास इतना धन नहीं है ।  क्या तू पूरे नौ दिन तक भूखी रह सकोगी ? बेटी बोली हां  मां मैंने सोच लिया ।  मैं भी तेरे साथ इस बार व्रत रखूंगी ।  इस तरह दोनों मां बेटी ने व्रत करने की तैयारी शुरू कर दी । उस औरत ने इधर उधर से कुछ पैसों का इंतजाम करके पूजा का सामान खरीदा ।आज नवरात्रि का पहला दिन था । उसने अपनी बेटी  से पूछा – तुझे भूख तो नहीं लगी है । बेटी ने हंसते हुए कहा लगी तो है पर थोड़ी थोड़ी । दोनों मां बेटी मां दुर्गा को फूल अर्पित करने के लिए मंदिर जाती हैं ।इन फूलों के सिवाय मां दुर्गा को अर्पण करने के लिए उनके पास कुछ नहीं था । मंदिर में प्रवेश करने समय पुजारी उन्हें मंदिर के द्वार पर ही रोक कर बोला – कि तुम मां बेटी कहां अंदर जा रही हो ? ये कैसे फटे पुराने कपड़े पहने हुए है ? ये कपड़े मैले भी है । जाओ पहले नहा धोकर स्वच्छ वस्त्र पहन कर आओ । तब मंदिर में प्रवेश करना। उस औरत ने कहा पुजारी जी दुर्गा मां तो भक्तों का मन देखती है , उनके कपड़े नहीं ।  आप हमें कृपया करके मंदिर में प्रवेश करने दे । हमें मां दुर्गा को यह फूल अर्पित करने है । परंतु पुजारी ने उन्हें मंदिर में प्रवेश नहीं करने दिया । दोनों मां बेटी लाए हुए फूलों को दुर्गा माता के मंदिर के द्वार पर ही अर्पित कर देती हैं ।मन ही मन मा दुर्गा का नाम जपते हुए घर आ जाती हैं । अगले दिन पुजारी मंदिर के द्वार खोलता है तो यह देखकर हैरान हो जाता है, कि कल के चढ़ाए सारे फूल मुरझा गए हैं । मगर द्वार के पास पड़े फूल अभी भी ताजे हैं ।यह देखकर पंडित आश्चर्य में पड़ जाता है वह सोचता है कि मंदिर तो मैंने अभी अभी खोला है फिर ये फूल किसने चढ़ाए ?  उधर दोनो मां और बेटी सच्चे मन से माता की भक्ति में मगन थी । इसी तरह दिन बीत गए और महाष्टमी आ गई । उस औरत ने मां दुर्गा को भोग लगाने के लिए थोड़े से चने , पूरी और हलवा बनाया था । उस सामग्री को उस औरत ने बहुत ही मेहनत से इकट्ठा किया था । औरत कहती है बेटी आ जाओ व्रत के पारण का समय हो गया है ।मां की पूजा करने के बाद दोनों मां बेटी अभी खाना खाने बैठी ही थी कि बाहर से एक बूढ़ी औरत की आवाज आई ।अरे! कोई इस बुढ़िया को भी खाने के लिए कुछ कुछ दे दो ।दोनों मां बेटी देखती है कि एक बूढ़ी मां खाना मांग रही है ।वह बहुत ही कमजोर है । इसलिए दोनों मां बेटी अपना खाना उस बूढ़ी औरत को दे देती है । बुढ़िया खाना खाकर तृप्त हो जाती है । वह उनको एक छोटी सी पोटली देते हुए कहती है, इसे अपने पूजा के स्थान पर रख दो और इसे विजयादशमी के दिन ही खोलना ।उसके बाद मंदिर में जाकर माता के दर्शन कर लो तुम्हारे सारे दुख दूर हो जाएंगे । दोनों मां बेटी फिर थोड़े से फूल लेकर डरते डरते मंदिर पहुंचते हैं । उन्हें देखते ही पंडित बोला भिखारिन कहीं की ,तुम दोनों आज फिर मंदिर आ गई । तुम गरीब भिखारिन होते ही ऐसे हैं जो एक बार में बात समझते ही नहीं । औरत ने कहा पुजारी जी माता ने हमें कभी मंदिर में पूजा करने से मना नहीं किया । फिर आप हमें मंदिर में प्रवेश करने से क्यों रोकते हैं ? मुझे बस इतना पता है कि माता के दरबार में सब बराबर होते हैं । माता की नजरों में कोई भी छोटा बड़ा नहीं होता । इसलिए हमें भी माता की पूजा और दर्शन करने दीजिए । पंडित बोला , अब तू मुझे पंडिताई का पाठ पढ़ाएगी ? और वह मंदिर में आए हुए लोगों की ओर देखकर कहता है इसे मन्दिर  से निकाल बाहर करो । लोग वहां से उन्हें खदेड़ने लगते हैं जैसे की वे कोई जानवर हो । इस भागदौड़ में बेटी  के हाथ से फूल मंदिर के प्रांगण में गिर जाते हैं । अगले दिन जब लोग मंदिर में जाते हैं तो देखते हैं कि दोनों मां और बेटी के गिरे हुए फूल अभी ताजे हैं । पंडित बोला लगता है यह मां बेटी दोनों डायन और जादूगरनियां है ।उन्होंने ही मन्दिर पर जादू किया हुआ है । भाइयों उन दोनों को पकड़कर यहां लाना होगा । उनका फैसला यहां देवी मां के सामने होगा । लोग दोनों मां बेटी को पकड़कर मंदिर में लाते हैं ।पंडित बोला –;सच-सच बताओ तुम लोगों ने यहां क्या जादू कर रखा है ? हम सब भक्ति से मां की पूजा करते हैं फिर भी हमारे फूल तो मुरझा जाते हैं और तुम गरीब भिखारिन जिन्हें ना पहनने का ढंग है और ना ही पूजा की कोई विधि पता है । उन के फूल कैसे ताजे रहते हैं । औरत बोली पुजारी जी हमने कुछ नहीं किया है । हम कोई जादूगर नहीं है । तभी दूसरे लोग कहने लगते हैं कि ये ऐसे मुंह नहीं खोलेगी और लोग उन्हें पीटना शुरू कर देते हैं । बेचारी औरत वहां गिर जाती है और बेटी दौड़कर अपनी मां से लिपट जाती है । तभी वहां बहुत जोर की आंधी चलती है । इसके बाद आगे का दृश्य देखकर लोगों की आंखें फटी रह जाती हैं । उनके सामने साक्षात मां दुर्गा प्रकट होती है । सभी लोग मां के सामने झुक जाते हैं । दुर्गा मां को सामने देखकर मां और बेटी की आंखों से आंसू बहने लगते हैं ।दुर्गा मां कहती है कि मेरा भक्त वही है जो सच्चे मन से मेरी पूजा करें । तुम लोग क्या सोचते हो – कि भक्ति सिर्फ सजावट से और पंडाल से ही होती है । भक्ति सीखनी है तो मेरी इस भक्त से सीखो ।इसकी भक्ति का ही प्रताप था कि इसकी प्रेम से खिलाई गई दो पूरी से ही मैं तृप्त हो गई । दुर्गा मां की आवाज सुनकर औरत के आश्चर्य का ठिकाना ना रहा । दोनों मां बेटी समझ चुकी थी कि बुढ़िया के भेष में  मां दुर्गा थी । वे मां के सामने प्रणाम करती है । और कहती है कि हे! ममतामई दयालु मां हम सब आपके बच्चे हैं । मैं सबकी तरफ से आपसे क्षमा मांगती हूं । हमारे पापों को क्षमा करें और हमें अपने चरणों में शरण दे । पुजारी को अपनी गलती का एहसास होता है । वह कहता है मां हमसे बहुत बड़ा अपराध हो गया है ,मुझे माफ कर दो । मैंने इन दोनों मां बेटी जैसी तुम्हारी कई भक्तों को इस मंदिर में आने से रोक कर बहुत बड़ा अपराध किया है । सभी के इस प्रकार माफी मांगने से देवी मां का क्रोध शांत हो जाता है । इसके साथ ही आंधी थम जाती है । बुझे हुए दीपक फिर से जलने लगते हैं । मां दुर्गा कहती है कि आज मैं इन दोनों की भक्ति से प्रसन्न होकर इस गांव को सुख समृद्धि और धन-धान्य से भरपूर होने का आशीर्वाद देती हूं । इतना कहकर दुर्गा मां अंतर्ध्यान हो जाती है । सारे गांव वाले उस औरत  से माफी मांगते हैं । उस दिन के बाद किसी का भी मंदिर में प्रवेश वर्जित नहीं रहा । विजयदशमी के दिन जैसे ही उस औरत और उसकी बेटी ने पोटली खोली जिसे मां दुर्गा बुढ़िया के भेष में आकर दे गई थी । उसमें से  बहुत सारे हीरे जवाहरात और माणिक निकले । यह देखकर उन दोनों की आंखों में आंसू आ गए और मन दुर्गा मां के प्रति श्रद्धा से भर गया उस दिन से उनके जीवन में कोई कमी नहीं रही ।

It's an old thing. was a very poor woman. Some time ago her husband had passed away. She was raising her daughter alone. She used to do the work of sweeping the houses of the people of the village. She was a devotee of Maa Durga. Due to full faith in Maa Durga, she also used to do cleanliness work in the Durga temple of the village. Navratri was about to start in a few days. One day her daughter said that mother this time in Navratri, I will also worship and keep the fast of Mother Durga. Mother said – Daughter Navratri fasting is very difficult. What shall I feed you during the fasting days? We don't have that much money. Will you be able to stay hungry for nine whole days? Daughter said yes mother, I thought. I will also fast with you this time. In this way both the mother and daughter started preparing for fasting. The woman bought the items of worship after arranging some money from here and there. Today was the first day of Navratri. He asked his daughter - are you hungry? The daughter laughed and said that it is but a little bit. Both mother and daughter go to the temple to offer flowers to Maa Durga. Apart from these flowers, they had nothing to offer to Maa Durga. While entering the temple, the priest stopped him at the entrance of the temple and said – where are you mother daughter going inside? How is he wearing torn old clothes? These clothes are dirty too. Go first, wash your bath and wear clean clothes. Then enter the temple. The woman said that the priest, Durga Maa, looks after the mind of the devotees, not their clothes. Please allow us to enter the temple. We have to offer this flower to Maa Durga. But the priest did not allow him to enter the temple. Both the mothers offer the flowers brought by the daughters at the door of the temple of Durga Mata. They come home chanting the name of Maa Durga in their mind. The next day the priest opens the door of the temple and is surprised to see that all the flowers offered yesterday have withered. But the flowers lying near the door are still fresh. Seeing this, the pundit is surprised, he thinks that I have just opened the temple, then who offered these flowers? On the other hand, both the mother and the daughter were engrossed in the devotion of the mother with a true heart. In this way the days passed and Mahashtami arrived. That woman had made some gram, poori and pudding to offer to Maa Durga. That material was collected by that woman very hard. The woman says come daughter, it is time to break the fast. After worshiping the mother, both the mother and daughter were just sitting down to eat when an old woman's voice came from outside. Hey! Somebody give this old lady something to eat too. Both mother and daughter see that an old mother is asking for food. She is very weak. That's why both mother and daughter give their food to that old lady. The old lady gets satisfied after eating food. She gives them a small bundle and says, keep it at your place of worship and open it only on Vijayadashami. Both mother and daughter then reach the temple in fear with some flowers. On seeing them, the pundit said that the beggar somewhere, both of you came to the temple again today. You are a poor beggar who does not understand the matter at once. The woman said that the priest Ji Mata never forbade us to worship in the temple. Then why do you stop us from entering the temple? All I know is that everyone is equal in the court of the mother. No one is small or big in the eyes of a mother. Therefore, let us also worship and have darshan of the mother. Pandit said, now you will teach me the lesson of Panditai? And looking at the people who came to the temple, he says, take him out of the temple. People start chasing them from there as if they are some animal. In this run, flowers fall from the hands of the daughter in the courtyard of the temple. The next day when people go to the temple, they see that the fallen flowers of both mother and daughter are still fresh. Pandit said it seems that both mother and daughter are witches and sorcerers. They have done magic on the temple. Brothers, both of them will have to be caught and brought here. His decision will be here in front of the Mother Goddess. People catch both the mother and daughter and bring them to the temple. The pandit said - Tell the truth, what magic have you guys put here? We all worship the mother with devotion, yet our flowers wither away and you poor beggars who do not know how to wear or any method of worship. How do their flowers stay fresh? The woman said priest, we have not done anything. We are not magicians. Then other people start saying that she will not open her mouth like this and people start beating her. The poor woman falls there and the daughter runs and clings to her mother. Then there is a very strong storm. After this, seeing the scene ahead, people's eyes remain torn. Maa Durga appears in front of him. Everyone bows before the mother. Seeing Durga Maa in front, tears start flowing from the eyes of mother and daughter. Durga Maa says that my devotee is the one who worships me with a true heart. What do you guys think - that devotion is done only by decoration and by the pandal. If you want to learn devotion, then learn from this devotee of mine. It was the glory of its devotion that I was satisfied with two puris fed by its love. Hearing the voice of Durga Maa, the woman's surprise knew no bounds. Both mother and daughter understood That in the guise of an old lady was Maa Durga. She bows before her mother. And says hey! Mamtamay gracious mother, we are all your children. I beg your apologies on behalf of everyone. Forgive our sins and give us shelter at your feet. The priest realizes his mistake. He says mother, we have committed a big crime, forgive me. I have committed a great crime by preventing many of your devotees like these two mother and daughter from coming to this temple. By apologizing like this to everyone, the anger of the Mother Goddess gets pacified. With this the storm stops. The extinguished lamp starts burning again. Maa Durga says that today I am pleased with the devotion of both of them and bless this village to be full of happiness, prosperity and wealth. Saying this, Durga Maa becomes intrigued. All the villagers apologize to that woman. After that day no one was barred from entering the temple. On the day of Vijayadashami, as soon as the woman and her daughter opened the bundle, which was given to Mother Durga in the guise of an old lady. Many diamonds, gems and rubies came out of it. Seeing this, both of them got tears in their eyes and their mind was filled with reverence for Durga Maa, since that day there was no shortage in their life.

 एक बार चार बहनें थी ।भूख ,प्यास ,नींद और आशा । चारों बहनें अपने आप को एक दूसरे से बढ़कर बता रही थी । भूख कहती थी कि" मैं बड़ी हूं"। प्यास कहती थी कि "मैं बड़ी हूं"। नींद कहती थी कि "मैं बड़ी हूं "।और आशा कहती थी कि" तुम सब से मैं बड़ी हूं"। लेकिन इस बात का कोई फैसला नहीं हो पाया कि चारों में से कौन सी बहन श्रेष्ठ थी। जब चारों बहन आपस में इस बात को लेकर बहस कर रही थी तभी उनके घर के पास से एक बहुत ही बुद्धिमान पंडित जी गुजरे । उन्होंने चारों बहनों को आपस में जोर– जोर से झगड़ते सुना। तब वे घर के अंदर गए और पूछा कि क्या बात है ? तुम आपस में क्यों झगड़ रही हो? तब चारों बहनों ने अपनी बात पंडित जी को बताइ। तब पंडित जी बोले कि "मैं तुम्हारी इस समस्या का समाधान कर दूंगा "। तब सबसे पहले भूख बोली कि पंडित जी, "मैं इन सब में सबसे श्रेष्ठ हूं "।तो पंडित जी बोले बताओ ,तुम कैसे बड़ी हो? भूख बोली, कि इस संसार में भूख के ही कारण लोग अपने घरों में खाना बनाते हैं , नए-नए तरह के पकवान और व्यंजन बनाते हैं और जब मुझे भूख लगती है । तब वे सब मुझे  भोजन कराकर अपनी भूख को मिटाते हैं। इसलिए मैं बड़ी हूं । पंडित जी बोले, कि चलो देखते हैं आज मैं पूरा दिन कुछ नहीं खाऊंगा । देखते हैं तब तुम कैसे रहोगी ? पंडित जी को पूरा दिन बीत गया और रात होने को आई थी । लेकिन पंडित जी ने कुछ भी नहीं खाया । जब भूख को भूख लगने लगी तब उसने अपने घर में पड़ी बासी  रोटियों से अपनी भूख शांत की । भूख को ऐसा करते देख प्यास पंडित जी के पास आई और पंडित जी से बोली, कि पंडित जी देखो मैं बड़ी हूं । भूख अपनी भूख मिटाने के लिए घर में पड़ी बासी रोटी खा रही है । तब पंडित जी बोले अब तुम बताओ तुम श्रेष्ठ कैसे हो? तब प्यास बोली कि लोग अपनी प्यास बुझाने के लिए कुआं खुदवाते हैं ,तालाब बनवाते हैं,  अपने घरों में पानी के मटके भरकर रखते हैं और जब मुझे प्यास लगती है तब पानी पी कर मेरी प्यास मिटाते हैं ।इसलिए मैं श्रेष्ठ हूं । तब पंडित जी ने कहा– ठीक है देखते हैं, तुम किस प्रकार श्रेष्ठ हो ? उस दिन पंडित जी ने बिल्कुल भी पानी नहीं पिया ।रात बीतने को आई थी, प्यास को जब प्यास लगने लगी तो वह प्यास के कारण इधर उधर गड्ढों का पानी पीने लगी । तब नींद पंडित जी के पास आई और बोली कि –पंडित जी प्यास तो गंदा गड्ढे का पानी पी रही है ।इसलिए मैं ही श्रेष्ठ हूं । तब पंडित जी बोले कि तुम किस प्रकार श्रेष्ठ हो ? नींद बोली कि– मैं श्रेष्ठ इसलिए हूं कि जब मनुष्य को जब नींद आती है तो वह अपने लिए बिस्तर लगाता है ,पलंग बिछाता हैं , उस पर सोता है और आराम करता है । मनुष्य नींद के बिना नहीं रह सकता । इसलिए मैं श्रेष्ठ हूं । तो पंडित जी ने कहा ठीक है, ये भी देखते हैं कि तुम किस प्रकार श्रेष्ठ हो? पंडित जी ने पूरे दिन विश्राम नहीं किया । रात बीतने को आई थी पंडित जी बिल्कुल भी लेटे नहीं ,बल्कि एक तरफ बैठे हुए राम के नाम का जाप कर रहे थे । लेकिन जब नींद को नींद आई तो वह इधर उधर उबर –खाबर जगह पर बिना बिस्तर के ही पड़ कर सो गई  । तब नींद को ऐसा देखकर आशा पंडित जी के पास आई और बोली कि पंडित जी मैं ही सर्वश्रेष्ठ हूं । पंडित जी बोले कि तुम किस प्रकार श्रेष्ठ हो? तब आशा बोली कि मैं ही वह आशा हूं जब मनुष्य हर तरफ से निराश हो जाता है , तब मैं उसके मन में एक आशा का दीपक जलाती हूं, जिससे वह अपनी सारी मुसीबतों को पार कर जाता है । उसे भगवान पर भरोसा होता है कि एक दिन उसकी मेहनत रंग लायेगी और उसके बिगड़े काम बनेंगे ।  पंडित जी ने कहा कि चलो तुम्हें भी आजमा के देखते है । उस दिन पंडित जी ने कुछ भी काम नहीं किया । और अपने मन में निराश होकर बैठ गए। जब आशा ने पंडित जी के मन में जाकर आशा का एक दीपक जलाया । तभी राजा के सिपाही पंडित जी को ढूंढते ढूंढते उस स्थान पर आ पहुंचे और कहा कि पंडित जी आपको राजा ने बुलाया है । जैसे ही पंडित राजा के पास गया तो राजा ने उसे कहा कि पंडित जी आप हमारे राज्य के बहुत ही बुद्धिमान और ज्ञानी पंडित है । इसलिए मैं आपको आज से राज पंडित नियुक्त करता हूं और उन पंडित को राजा ने बहुत सारी सोने की मोहरे भेट स्वरूप दी । पंडित जी ने आशा से कहा  कि – वाकई में तुम सर्वश्रेष्ठ हो ,क्योंकि जब आशा की किरण मन में जलती है तो मनुष्य अपने जीवन में सब कुछ प्राप्त कर सकता है । मनुष्य भोजन,पानी और नींद के बिना कुछ दिनों तक जीवित रह सकता है परंतु आशा के बिना मनुष्य एक पल भी नहीं रह सकता । जिंदगी से निराश व्यक्ति को ये सब भोग भी अच्छे नही लगते। हारे हुए इंसान की जिंदगी मौत के बराबर होती है । इसलिये व्यक्ति को अपने जीवन में आशा के दीपक को नहीं बुझने देना चाहिए ।

Once there were four sisters. Hunger, Thirst, Sleep and Hope. The four sisters were telling themselves more than each other. Hunger used to say "I am big". Thirst used to say "I am big". Sleep used to say that "I am older". And Asha used to say that "I am older than all of you". But no decision could be taken as to which of the four sisters was the best. When the four sisters were arguing among themselves about this matter, then a very intelligent Pandit ji passed by their house. He heard the four sisters quarreling loudly among themselves. Then he went inside the house and asked what was the matter? why are you fighting with each other? Then the four sisters told their story to Pandit ji. Then Pandit ji said that "I will solve your problem". Then first of all the hungry said that Pandit ji, "I am the best of all these". Hunger said that because of hunger in this world, people cook food in their homes, prepare new types of dishes and dishes and when I feel hungry. Then they all satisfy their hunger by feeding me. That's why I'm older. Pandit ji said, let's see, today I will not eat anything for the whole day. Let's see how will you be then? The whole day passed for Pandit ji and night had come. But Panditji did not eat anything. When the hungry started feeling hungry, he quenched his hunger with the stale rotis lying in his house. Seeing hunger doing this, thirst came to Pandit ji and said to Pandit ji, Pandit ji, look I am big. Hunger is eating stale bread lying in the house to satisfy his hunger. Then Pandit ji said, now tell me how are you the best? Then Thirst said that to quench their thirst, people dig wells, build ponds, keep water pots in their homes and drink water when I feel thirsty and quench my thirst. That's why I am the best. Then Pandit ji said – OK, let's see, how are you the best? That day Pandit ji did not drink water at all. The night had come to pass, when the thirsty started feeling thirsty, he started drinking water from pits here and there due to thirst. Then sleep came to Pandit ji and said that - Pandit ji is thirsty and is drinking dirty pit water. That's why I am the best. Then Pandit ji said that how are you the best? Sleep said that – I am the best because when a man sleeps, he sets up a bed for himself, puts a bed, sleeps on it and rests. Man cannot live without sleep. That's why I am the best. So Pandit ji said, okay, let us also see how best you are? Panditji did not rest for the whole day. The night had come to pass, Pandit ji was not lying down at all, but sitting on one side was chanting the name of Ram. But when the sleep came to sleep, she fell asleep without a bed here and there. And he sat down disappointed in his heart. When Asha went to Panditji's mind and lit a lamp of hope. Then the king's soldiers came to that place looking for Pandit ji and said that Pandit ji has called you by the king. As soon as the pandit went to the king, the king told him that Pandit ji, you are a very intelligent and knowledgeable pandit of our state. That's why I appoint you as Raj Pandit from today and the king has presented many gold pieces to those Pandits. Pandit ji said to Asha that - you are really the best, because when the ray of hope burns in the mind, then man can achieve everything in his life. Man can live for a few days without food, water and sleep, but without hope man cannot live even for a moment. All these indulgences do not even look good to a person who is disappointed with life. The life of a loser is equal to death. That is why one should not let the lamp of hope go out in his life.

बहुत पुरानी बात है ।  किसी गांव में एक गरीब ब्राह्मण रहता था । गरीबी के कारण वो दो वक्त की रोटी का इंतजाम भी नहीं कर पाता था ।  इसलिए कभी-कभी उसका परिवार पूरे दिन बिना भोजन के भी रहता था । वह रोज काम तलाशता था ।  लेकिन उसे कहीं काम नहीं मिलता । अंत में एक दिन उसने गांव छोड़कर शहर में काम करने का निर्णय लिया । अगले ही दिन ब्राह्मण शहर के लिए चल दिया । बहुत दूर चलने के बाद वह घने जंगल में पहुंच गया । ब्राह्मण को बहुत भूख लग रही थी । ब्राह्मण जंगल में खाने के लिए कुछ फल तलाशने लगा । तभी उसने देखा कि एक गड्ढे में एक शेर गिरा हुआ है । जैसे ही शेर ने ब्राह्मण को देखा तो कहने लगा कृपया ! मुझे बचा लो मेरी पत्नी और मेरे बच्चे मेरा इंतजार कर रहे हैं । मैं तुम्हारा आभारी रहूंगा । ब्राह्मण ने कहा – यदि मैं तुम्हें बाहर निकाल लूं ,तो तुम मुझे मार डालोगे । इस पर शेर बोला मैं इस समय मुसीबत में हूं ,तुम मेरा विश्वास करो , मैं तुम्हें नहीं मारूंगा । यह सुनकर ब्राह्मण ने शेर को बाहर निकाल लिया  ।  शेर बाहर निकल कर ब्राह्मण से बोला – मेरा घर पहाड़ी के पास ही है, यदि तुम्हें मेरी कोई भी मदद चाहिए ।तो तुम किसी भी समय वहां आ सकते हो । इसके बाद जैसे ही ब्राह्मण आगे बढ़ा तो उसने देखा कि एक गड्ढे में आगे एक बंदर पड़ा हुआ है । ब्राह्मण को देखकर बंदर बोला कि कृपया ! मुझे बाहर निकाल दो । ब्राह्मण ने बंदर को भी बाहर निकाल लिया ।  बंदर ने बाहर आकर ब्राह्मण का धन्यवाद किया और कहा कि आप हर प्रकार के फल मेरे घर से ले जा सकते हैं ।  जब ब्राह्मण आगे चला तो उसने देखा कि एक गड्ढे में एक सांप पड़ा हुआ है ,सांप ने जब ब्राह्मण को देखा तो मदद मांगने लगा लेकिन ब्राह्मण बोला –  तुम सांप हो तुम मुझे काट लोगे , मैं तुम्हें नहीं निकाल सकता । लेकिन सांप के बार-बार आग्रह करने पर ब्राह्मण ने सांप को भी बाहर निकाल दिया । सांप ने उसे धन्यवाद दिया और जरूरत के समय याद करने को कहा । जैसे ही ब्राह्मण आगे चला तो आगे एक गड्ढे में एक आदमी गिरा हुआ था । आदमी ब्राह्मण को देखकर बोला कि कृपया ! मुझे बाहर निकालो । ब्राह्मण ने उस आदमी को बाहर निकाल लिया ।  उसने ब्राह्मण का आभार व्यक्त किया और बताया कि मैं एक सुनार हूं , मुझसे कभी कोई काम हो तो जरुर याद करना । ब्राह्मण ने फिर अपनी यात्रा शुरू कर दी  । लेकिन बहुत खोजने पर उसे काम नहीं मिला । ब्राह्मण परेशान होकर नदी में कूदने लगा तभी उसे शेर ,बंदर ,सांप और सुनार के किए हुए वादे याद आ गए ।इसलिए वो उन सभी के घर की तरफ चल पड़ा । सबसे पहले ब्राह्मण बंदर के घर गया । उसने बंदर के यहां बहुत से फल खाए और कुछ समय आराम किया । फिर वह शेर के घर की ओर चल दिया । शेर ब्राह्मण को देख कर बहुत खुश हुआ । शेर ने ब्राह्मण को सोने की कीमती चेन दी। जो उसे किसी राजकुमार को मारकर मिली थी । इसके बाद ब्राह्मण सुनार के घर की ओर चल दिया । ब्राह्मण ने सुनार से कहा "मैं यह चेन बेचना चाहता हूं कृपया तुम मेरी मदद करो । सुनार ने कहा मैं इस चेन के पूरे पैसे नहीं दे सकता । लेकिन किसी अन्य सुनार से जरूर दिला सकता हूं । चेन लेकर सुनार वहां के राजा के पास गया और उसे सारी बात बता दी वह चेन राजा के बेटे की थी और उसे इसी सुनार ने बनाया था । राजा ने सोचा कि ब्राह्मण ने मेरे बेटे को मारकर चेन छीनी है । ब्राह्मण ने राजा से कहा , मैंने किसी को नहीं मारा मुझे यह चेन शेर ने दी थी । लेकिन किसी को उसकी बात पर विश्वास नहीं हुआ । राजा ने ब्राह्मण को जेल में डाल दिया । ब्राह्मण ने मदद के लिए सांप को याद किया । उसने सांप को सारी घटना बताई और सहायता करने को कहा । सांप ने कहा मेरे पास एक उपाय है । मैं राजा की बेटी को काट लेता हूं । राजा अपनी बेटी के लिए बहुत से वैद्य और हकीम को बुलाएगा । तुम सिपाहियों से कहना कि तुम राजा की बेटी को ठीक कर सकते हो । और जब तुम राजा की बेटी के पास जाओगे , तो मैं उसके शरीर से अपना जहर खींच लूंगा । इससे राजा खुश होगा और तुम्हें छोड़ देगा ।अगले ही दिन सांप ने राजा की बेटी को काट लिया और सब कुछ ठीक वैसे ही हुआ जैसा सांप और ब्राह्मण ने सोचा था । राजा ने सोचा कि मेरी बेटी ब्राह्मण के इलाज से ठीक हो गई । राजा ने ब्राह्मण को बुलाया और उसे बहुत सा धन दिया तथा उसकी सजा माफ कर दी । राजा ने सुनार को बुलवाकर उचित दंड दिया । ब्राह्मण की सारी कहानी सुनने के बाद राजा को यह एहसास हो गया कि जानवर आदमी से अच्छे दोस्त होते हैं और सच्चा दोस्त वही होता है जो बुरे समय में भी साथ ना छोड़े ।

It's a very old matter . A poor Brahmin lived in a village. Due to poverty, he could not even arrange for bread for two times. So sometimes his family lived without food for the whole day. He used to look for work everyday. But he doesn't get any work. Finally one day he decided to leave the village and work in the city. The very next day the Brahmin left for the city. After walking a long distance, he reached a dense forest. The Brahmin was feeling very hungry. The Brahmin started looking for some fruits to eat in the forest. Then he saw that a lion had fallen in a pit. As soon as the lion saw the Brahmin, he started saying please! Save me my wife and my kids are waiting for me. I will be grateful to you. The brahmin said - If I take you out, you will kill me. On this the lion said, I am in trouble at this time, you believe me, I will not kill you. Hearing this, the brahmin took out the lion. The lion came out and said to the Brahmin - My house is near the hill, if you need any help from me. You can come there any time. After this, as soon as the Brahmin moved forward, he saw that a monkey was lying ahead in a pit. Seeing the Brahmin, the monkey said that please! get me out The brahmin also took out the monkey. The monkey came out and thanked the Brahmin and said that you can take all kinds of fruits from my house. When the Brahmin went ahead, he saw that a snake was lying in a pit, when the snake saw the Brahmin, he started asking for help but the Brahmin said - you are a snake, you will bite me, I cannot take you out. But on repeated requests of the snake, the Brahmin threw out the snake as well. The snake thanked him and asked him to remember him at the time of need. As the brahmin walked forward, a man fell in a pit ahead. Seeing the brahmin, the man said that please! Take me out . The brahmin took the man out. He expressed his gratitude to the Brahmin and told that I am a goldsmith, if there is any work from me, then definitely remember it. The brahmin again started his journey. But after searching a lot, he could not find work. The Brahmin got upset and started jumping into the river when he remembered the promises made by the lion, monkey, snake and goldsmith. So he started towards the house of all of them. First the Brahmin went to the monkey's house. He ate many fruits at the monkey's place and took rest for some time. Then he walked towards the lion's house. The lion was very happy seeing the Brahmin. The lion gave the Brahmin a precious gold chain. Which she got by killing a prince. After this the Brahmin went towards the goldsmith's house. The brahmin said to the goldsmith "I want to sell this chain, please help me. The goldsmith said I can't pay the entire money for this chain. But I can definitely get it from another goldsmith. Taking the chain, the goldsmith went to the king there." And told him the whole thing, that chain belonged to the king's son and it was made by this goldsmith. The king thought that the brahmin had snatched the chain after killing my son. The brahmin said to the king, I didn't kill anyone, I got this chain lion had given. But no one believed him. The king put the brahmin in jail. The brahmin remembered the snake for help. He told the snake the whole incident and asked to help. The snake said to me There is a solution. I kill the king's daughter. The king will call many physicians and hakims for his daughter. You tell the soldiers that you can cure the king's daughter. And when you go to the king's daughter , then I will draw my poison from her body. This will make the king happy and leave you. Next day the snake bit the king's daughter and everything happened just like the snake And the brahmin thought. The king thought that my daughter was cured by the treatment of the Brahmin. The king called the Brahmin and gave him a lot of money and forgave his punishment. The king called the goldsmith and punished him appropriately. After listening to the whole story of the brahmin, the king realized that animals are better friends than man and a true friend is the one who does not leave him even in bad times.
