श्राप जिसके कारण श्री कृष्ण ने नहीं पीया देवकी का दूध | Hindi story | Shri Krishna

 

यह तो आप सभी जानते हैं कि–  श्री कृष्ण को जन्म देने वाले माता – पिता वसुदेव जी और देवकी है । लेकिन उनका पालन – पोषण गोकुल में माता यशोदा और नंद बाबा के घर में हुआ था । आखिर क्यों ? श्री कृष्ण ने नंद बाबा और माता यशोदा के घर में अपना बचपन व्यतीत किया । देवकी माता के गर्भ से जन्म लेने के पश्चात भी उन्होंने माता देवकी का स्तनपान नहीं किया । उन्होंने माता यशोदा का ही दूध क्यों पिया ।  गोकुल में जाकर मां यशोदा को अपनी बाल लीलाओं से क्यों मोहित किया ।  इसके पीछे माता यशोदा और नंद बाबा के पिछले जन्म के पुण्य का फल हैं ।

        कथा के अनुसार   –       पिछले जन्म में नंदबाबा द्रोण नाम के राजा थे और माता यशोदा उनकी धरा नाम की पत्नी थी । दोनों राजा और रानी विष्णु भगवान के बहुत ही बड़े भक्त थे । दोनों राजा रानी प्रतिदिन विष्णु भगवान के नाम का जाप करते थे । ब्राह्मणों को नित्य भोजन कराते थें । उसके पश्चात् स्वयं भोजन ग्रहण करते थे । परन्तु उनके घर में कोई भी संतान नहीं थी । भगवान का नाम जपते जपते उन्हें इस संसार से इतनी विरक्ति हो गई कि वे दोनों जंगल में जाकर एक झोपड़ी बनाकर रहने लगे । वहीं पर दोनों  भगवान के नाम का जप करते थे । अपने जीवन यापन के लिए द्रोण जंगल से थोड़ी सी लकड़ियां काट कर लाते , उन्हे बाजार में बेचकर जो भी थोड़ा बहुत धन मिलता था । उससे पहले वे ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराते और बाद में अपने आप भोजन करते थे ।  और फिर विष्णु नारायण के नाम का जप करते थे । उनकी इस कठोर तपस्या के कारण स्वर्ग लोक के देवता भी उनकी प्रशंसा करने लगे और विष्णु भगवान से कहने लगे कि – भगवन ,  धरती पर द्रोण और धरा नाम के पति –  पत्नी आपके बहुत ही बड़े भक्त हैं ।   वें आपकी नित्य प्रतिदिन तपस्या करते हैं ।  आपको उनकी इस तपस्या का फल देना चाहिए ।  विष्णु भगवान ने दोनों पति-पत्नी की परीक्षा लेने के लिए सोचा । विष्णु भगवान ने  एक ब्राह्मण का रूप बनाया और पृथ्वी लोक में आ गए । वे धरा की कुटिया पर आकर भिक्षा मांगने लगे । उस समय द्रोण लकड़ियां काटने वन में गए हुए थे । झोपड़ी में द्रोण की पत्नी केवल धरा थी । धरा बाहर आई और उसने ब्राह्मण देव को प्रणाम किया । ब्राह्मण ने कहा कि – देवी,  हमें बहुत भूख लगी है , हमने कई दिनों से भोजन नहीं किया । इसलिए आप जितना जल्दी संभव हो सके मुझे भोजन कराइए ।  धरा ने उन ब्राह्मण देव का अपनी कुटिया में आतिथ्य सत्कार किया  ।  उन्हें उचित आसन पर बैठाया । धरा अपनी रसोई में जाकर देखती है वहां पर खाने के लिए कुछ भी भोजन की सामग्री नहीं थी । धरा ने आकर ब्राह्मण देव से कहा कि –  हे ब्राह्मण देव ,  आपको थोड़ी देर प्रतीक्षा करनी होगी । मेरे पति जंगल में लकड़ियां काटने गए हैं । वे उन लकड़ियों को बेचकर जैसे ही भोजन की सामग्री लेकर आएंगे । मैं तब शीघ्र ही आपके लिए भोजन बना दूंगी ।  बस आप थोड़ी देर प्रतीक्षा कीजिए । ब्राह्मण देव को बहुत तेज भूख लग रही थी । ब्राह्मण ने कहा कि – मुझसे अब और प्रतीक्षा नहीं होती  । या तो मुझे भोजन करा दो या फिर कह दीजिए कि मैं आपको भोजन नहीं करा सकती । मैं उठ कर चला जाऊंगा और किसी अन्य घर से भोजन ग्रहण कर लूंगा । धरा ने सोचा कि अभी तक मेरी कुटिया से कोई भी भूखा नही गया हैं । यदि ये ब्राह्मण देव यहां से भूखे चले गए तो यह तो बहुत ही बड़ा पाप होगा और मैं पाप की भागीदार बन जाऊंगी । धरा ने कहा –  ठीक है , ब्राह्मण देव आप बैठे रहिए , मैं अभी भोजन की सामग्री लेकर आती हूं । धरा जल्दी – जल्दी गांव में गई । वहां एक सेठ की दुकान थी । वहां जाकर बोली – सेठ जी , मुझे भोजन बनाने की थोडी सी सामग्री दे दीजिए । मेरे पति जैसे ही लकड़ियां बेचकर जो भी धन लायेंगे। उससे मैं आप का उधार चुका दूंगी  ।  सेठ ने उधार देने से मना कर दिया । सेठ बहुत ही लालची था और बहुत ही बुरी नियत का था । धरा बहुत ही सुंदर थी । वह उसके रूप पर मोहित हो गया और कहने लगा कि हे देवी यदि तुम मुझे अपनी सुंदरता दे दो तो मैं तुम्हें भोजन की सामग्री बिना धन के ही दे दूंगा । तुम्हें इस भोजन की सामग्री के लिए धन चुकाने की कोई जरूरत ही नहीं पड़ेगी । धरा ने कहा – सेठ जी , आप स्पष्ट कहिए । तब सेठ बोला कि – तुम मुझे अपने  दोनों स्तन दे दो और  यह सामग्री ले जाओ । धरा ने कहा –  ठीक है सेठ जी आप भोजन की सामग्री तोलिए । मैं आपको अभी अपने दोनों स्तन देती हूं । सेठ खुश हो गया ।  उधर धरा ने पास में पड़े हुए चाकू से अपने दोनों स्तन काटकर सेठ की तराजू में रख दिए और कहा कि – यह लो सेठ जी , तुमने स्तन मांगे थे  । ये वही स्तन है । अब मुझे भोजन की सामग्री दे दो । मेरे घर पर ब्राह्मण देव भूखे बैठे हैं । धरा ने भोजन की सामग्री ली और दौड़ कर अपनी झोपड़ी में आई  । उसने रसोई में  जाकर जल्दी से भोजन बनाया और ब्राह्मण देव को आदर सहित भोजन परोसा । उसकी छाती से खून की धारा बह रही थी । उसके सारे वस्त्र खून में लथपथ हो चुके थे। उसके वस्त्रों को देखकर ब्राह्मण देव बोले कि देवी , आपके वस्त्र खून में सने हुए हैं । ये कैसे हुआ ?  तब धरा बोली कि हे ब्राह्मण देव – आप पहले भोजन ग्रहण कीजिए । बाद में मैं आपको सारी बात बताऊंगी । तब ब्राह्मण देव ने पहले विनम्रता से भोजन ग्रहण किया । भोजन करने के पश्चात ब्राह्मण देव बोले –  देवी , हम जानना चाहते हैं , आप की यह दशा कैसे हुई । तब देवी धरा ने सारी बात बताई । भगवान उसकी यह बात सुनकर प्रसन्न हो गए और उन्हें साक्षात दर्शन दिए । विष्णु भगवान बोले कि –  धरा , तुमने अपने धर्म को निभाया है । तुमने अपने धर्म को निभाने के लिए अपने स्तनों का त्याग किया है । मैं तुम्हें वरदान देता हूं कि अगले जन्म में मैं तुम्हारी गोद में खेलूंगा और इन्हीं स्तनों से दूध पान करूंगा । विष्णु भगवान ने धरा की सारी पीड़ा को हर लिया और अंतर्ध्यान हो गए । 

              अगले जन्म में यही धरा और द्रोण यशोदा मैया और नंद बाबा के रूप में जन्मे और श्री कृष्ण ने मां यशोदा के इन्हीं स्तनों से दूध पिया और उन्हें अपनी बाल लीलाओं का आनंद प्रदान किया ।

You all know that the parents who gave birth to Shri Krishna are Vasudev ji and Devaki. But he was brought up in the house of Mother Yashoda and Nand Baba in Gokul. But why ? Shri Krishna spent his childhood in the house of Nand Baba and Mother Yashoda. Even after taking birth from the womb of Mother Devaki, he did not breastfeed Mother Devaki. Why did he drink only the milk of Mother Yashoda? Why did you go to Gokul and fascinate mother Yashoda with her child pastimes? Behind this are the fruits of the merits of the previous births of Mother Yashoda and Nanda Baba.

        According to the legend – in the previous birth Nandbaba was a king named Drona and mother Yashoda was his wife named Dhara. Both the king and queen were great devotees of Lord Vishnu. Both the kings and queens used to chant the name of Lord Vishnu every day. He used to feed Brahmins daily. After that, he himself used to take food. But there was no child in their house. While chanting the name of God, they became so detached from this world that both of them went to the forest and started living in a hut. There both used to chant the name of God. For his living, Drona used to cut some wood from the forest, sell them in the market and earn whatever little money he got. Before that he used to feed the Brahmins and later on his own. And then Vishnu used to chant the name of Narayan. Due to his severe penance, the gods of heaven also started praising him and Vishnu started telling God that – Lord, the husband and wife named Drona and Dhara on earth are your great devotees. He does penance for you every day. You should give the fruits of his penance. Lord Vishnu thought of taking the test of both husband and wife. Lord Vishnu took the form of a Brahmin and came to the earth world. They came to the hut of the land and started asking for alms. At that time Drona was going to the forest to cut wood. Drona's wife was the only house in the hut. The earth came out and bowed down to the Brahmin god. The brahmin said - Goddess, we are very hungry, we have not eaten for many days. So you feed me as soon as possible. Dhara gave hospitality to those Brahmin gods in his hut. He made them sit on the proper seat. Dhara goes to her kitchen and sees that there was nothing to eat. Dhara came and said to the Brahmin Dev that – O Brahmin God, you have to wait for a while. My husband has gone to the forest to cut wood. They will sell those wood as soon as they bring food items. I will cook food for you soon then. You just wait a while. The Brahmin Dev was feeling very hungry. The Brahmin said that - I do not wait any longer. Either give me food or tell me that I cannot feed you. I will get up and go and get food from some other house. Dhara thought that till now no one has gone hungry from my hut. If these brahmin gods go hungry from here then it will be a great sin and I will become a participant in the sin. Dhara said - Alright, brahmin god, keep sitting, I am now bringing food items. The land quickly went to the village. There was a Seth's shop there. Going there and said - Seth ji, give me some food preparation material. Whatever money my husband will bring by selling wood. I will repay your loan with him. Seth refused to lend. Seth was very greedy and had a very bad intention. The land was very beautiful. He was fascinated by her appearance and said that if you give me your beauty, O Goddess, I will give you the food items without money. You will never need to pay money for the ingredients of this meal. Dhara said - Seth ji, you should be clear. Then Seth said - You give me both your breasts and take this material. Dhara said – Alright Seth ji, you weigh the food items. I'll give you both my breasts now. Seth was pleased. On the other hand, Dhara cut both his breasts with a knife lying nearby and placed them in Seth's scales and said – Take this Seth, you had asked for breasts. It's the same breast. Now give me the ingredients of the meal. The Brahmin gods are sitting hungry at my house. Dhara took the food items and came running to her hut. He went to the kitchen and prepared food quickly and served food to the Brahmin god with respect. A stream of blood was flowing from his chest. All his clothes were soaked in blood. Seeing her clothes, the Brahmin Dev said that Goddess, your clothes are soaked in blood. How did this happen ? Then the earth said that O Brahmin god - you should take food first. Later I will tell you everything. Then the Brahmin god first humbly took the food. After having food, the Brahmin Dev said – Goddess, we want to know, how did this condition of you happen. Then Goddess Dhara told the whole thing. The Lord was pleased to hear this and gave him a direct darshan. Lord Vishnu said that – Earth, you have fulfilled your religion. You have sacrificed your breasts to fulfill your religion. I give you a boon that in the next life I will play on your lap and drink milk from these breasts. Lord Vishnu took away all the suffering of the earth and disappeared.

              In the next birth, this land and Drona were born as Yashoda Maiya and Nanda Baba and Shri Krishna took birth in these breasts of Mother Yashoda. He drank milk from him and provided him the joy of his child pastimes.

Gyan Ganga | भगवान के बिना कुछ नहीं होगा। मलूक चंद की सच्ची कहानी | Hindi Story

 एक गांव में एक सेठ रहते थे । उनका नाम मलूक चंद था । उनके घर के पास एक ब्राह्मण का घर था । ब्राह्मण बहुत ही पूजा - पाठ करते थे ।   एक दिन ब्राह्मण ने रात्रि में एकादशी का जागरण किया । सारी रात बैठकर ढोल , मंजीरे बजाकर भजन कीर्तन किया । जिससे पास के घर में रहने वाले मलूक चंद सेठ को रात भर नींद नहीं आई । वह ढोल और मंजीरों की आवाज से परेशान रहा । जब वह सुबह उठा तो उसने ब्राह्मण से कहा कि – आपने सारी रात मुझे सोने नहीं दिया । सारी रात आपके भजन और ढोल , मंजीरों की आवाज हमारे घर में आती रही और मैं ठीक से सो ही नहीं पाया । उसने ब्राह्मण को बहुत खरी-खोटी सुनाई । ब्राह्मण ने कहा कि – कल एकादशी का जागरण था । एकादशी के दिन रात्रि में मैं भजन कीर्तन करता हूं । सेठ जी ,  यदि आपको सारी रात नींद नहीं आई , तो आप मेरे घर आकर भजन कीर्तन में शामिल हो जाते और भगवान का नाम लेते । मलूक चंद सेठ बोले कि अगर इंसान रात्रि को ठीक से सोएगा नहीं , तो वह सुबह उठकर कैसे काम करेगा और काम पर नहीं जाएगा , तो अपने परिवार को क्या खिलाएगा । और वैसे भी मुझे ये भजन कीर्तन पसंद नहीं है। ब्राह्मण बोला कि – खिलाने वाला तो ईश्वर है , वह सब का ध्यान रखता है , वह सब को भोजन देता है । तब मलूक चंद सेठ जी बोले – ये क्या तुमने भगवान के नाम की रट लगा रखी है । मैं खुद कमाता हूं और खाता हूं । तुम्हारे भगवान का दिया हुआ मैं नहीं खाता । मैं तो अपनी कमाई का खाता हूं । तुम्हारे भगवान एक एक को थोड़े ही ना खिलाने आते हैं । तब ब्राह्मण बोला कि – भगवान किसी न किसी को निमित्त मात्र बनाकर सब का पेट भरता है । वही हमारे अंदर मेहनत करने की इच्छा शक्ति देता है । ब्राह्मण और सेठ में इस बात पर बहस हो गई । सेठ जी बोले कि – हम कमाते हैं और खाते हैं । ब्राह्मण बोला कि – खिलाने वाला तो परमात्मा ही है । इस बात की बहस होते होते दोनों के बीच एक शर्त लग गई । तब मलूक चंद सेठ बोले – तो ठीक है , अपनी बात साबित करो ।  मैं कल दिन में पूरा दिन भूखा रहूंगा । खुद से खाना नहीं खाऊंगा । देखते हैं तुम्हारा भगवान मुझे कैसे खिलाएगा ? और अगर मैं जीत गया तो तुम्हें सदा के लिए यह भजन कीर्तन छोड़ना होगा । ब्राह्मण को अपने भगवान पर पूरा विश्वास था । उन्होंने कहा – ठीक है , मुझे तुम्हारी शर्त मंजूर हैं । अगली सुबह  सेठ ने कुछ नहीं खाया और सोचा कि यदि घर में रहूंगा , तो कहीं परिवारजन जिद करके  खिला ना दे , इसीलिए मैं जंगल में चला जाता हूं ।  सेठ जी एक जंगल में जाकर एक वृक्ष के ऊपर चढ़कर बैठ गए और बोले कि देखते हैं , अब यहां पर आकर मुझे कौन खिलाता है । आज तो मैं अपनी शर्त जीत जाऊंगा और ब्राह्मण को सदा के लिए भजन कीर्तन और ढोल मंजिरे बंद करने पड़ेंगे । फिर मैं  आराम से सोया करूंगा । वह यह सब सोच रहा था तभी उस पेड़ के नीचे एक बुढ़िया माई अपनी बकरियां चराने आई । वह उसी पेड़ की छांव में बैठ गई । उस बुढ़िया ने उस पेड़ की छांव में विश्राम किया । तभी उसे लगा कि उसकी बकरियां चरती हुई कहीं दूर चली गई है और वह अपनी बकरियों को देखने के लिए वहां से उठकर चल पड़ी । बुढ़िया गलती से अपना थैला वहीं पर भूल गई । या फिर कह सकते हैं कि भगवान की प्रेरणा थी जो गलती से वो उस थैले को वहां भूल गई । सेठ जी पेड़ पर चढ़े हुए थे और यह सब देख रहे थे । तभी थोड़ी देर बाद वहां पर कुछ डाकू आते हैं । उनके पास चोरी का बहुत सारा धन होता है । डाकू उस पेड़ के नीचे बैठते हैं और अपना चोरी का धन आपस में बांट रहे होते हैं । तभी उनकी नजर उस पास पड़े थैले पर पड़ती है,  तो उनमें से एक डाकू कहता है कि –  सरदार देखो , यहां पर एक थैला पड़ा हुआ है । इसे खोल कर देखते हैं । उसमे एक कपड़े में तीन – चार रोटियां बंधी हुई थी । डाकू बोलता है कि – सरदार कोई लगता है अपना भोजन यही भूल गया है । हमें भूख भी लगी हुई है , चलो भोजन करते हैं । तब सरदार बोलता है कि नहीं नहीं , भला इतने घने जंगल में कोई अपना भोजन क्यों भूलेगा । लगता है हमें पकड़वाने के लिए किसी ने चाल चली है , देखो कोई यहां आस पास तो नहीं है  । हो सकता है इन रोटियों में किसी ने जहर मिला रखा हो , कोई हमें मारना चाहता हो । तो वे सब इधर-उधर देखने लगते हैं । अचानक एक डाकू की नजर पेड़ पर चढ़े हुए सेठ पर पड़ती है । डाकू सेठ को नीचे उतरने के लिए कहते हैं । सेठ नीचे उतरने से मना कर देता है कि नहीं , मैं तो आज यहीं पर बैठा रहूंगा । तब सारे डाकू मिलकर जबरदस्ती उसे पेड़ से नीचे उतार देते हैं । और कहते हैं कि बता तू पेड़ पर चढ़कर क्यों बैठा है,  तूने इस भोजन में जहर मिला रखा हैं ताकि हमें मार सके और हमारा सारा धन छीन सके। सेठ जी कहते हैं कि नहीं नहीं , मैंने यह भोजन नहीं रखा । यहां तो एक बुढ़िया आई थी और वही अपना थैला यहां गलती से भूल गई है । तब डाकू कहते हैं कि तुम झूठ बोल रहे हो । अगर तुमने यह भोजन नहीं रखा है और ना ही इसमें जहर मिला हैं , तो फिर इस भोजन को खा कर दिखाओ और अपनी बात साबित करो । चलो इसमें से एक रोटी खाकर दिखाओ । सेठ जी कहते हैं कि – नहीं नहीं , मैं आज रोटी तो बिल्कुल नहीं खाऊंगा ।  डाकू बोला कैसे नहीं खाएगा , इसमें जहर मिलाकर हमें मारना चाहता था और अब हम कह रहे हैं भोजन कर , तो मना करता है । डाकू जबरदस्ती उसको पकड़ लेते हैं और उसके मुंह में जबरदस्ती एक टुकड़ा डालते हैं , पर सेठ मुंह नहीं खोलता । तो डाकू उसकी नाक बंद करके उसका मुंह खुलवा देते है और एक – एक टुकड़ा खिला कर एक रोटी खिला देते हैं । तब सरदार कहता है एक रोटी खाकर इसे कुछ नहीं हुआ । लगता है दूसरी रोटी में जहर है । इस तरह करके उसे दूसरी रोटी भी खिला देते हैं और फिर इस प्रकार तीसरी रोटी और चौथी रोटी । चारों रोटियां उस सेठ को जबरदस्ती खिला देते हैं । सेठ जी मन ही मन सोचते हैं कि–  मान गए भगवान , तेरी लीला को मान गए । जब कोई नहीं खाता तो उसे जबरदस्ती मार-मार कर भी खिलाता है । मलूक चंद सेठ सोचते हैं कि चाहे तू डाकू के रूप में आकर खिला , चाहे भक्तों के रूप में ,  खिलाने वाला तो तू ही है । डाकू उसे छोड़ देते हैं । मलूक चंद सेठ भागे भागे ब्राह्मण के पास आते हैं और उनसे हाथ जोड़कर क्षमा मांगते हैं और कहते हैं – ब्राह्मण देव , आपने सत्य ही कहा था । आपका भगवान ही खिलाने वाला है और कोई नहीं खाता तो वह मार मार कर खिलाता है । मलूक चंद सेठ का जीवन पूरी तरह बदल चुका था । मलूक चंद सेठ अपना सारा घर बार छोड़कर भगवान के भजन कीर्तन में लग गए ।  और मलुकचंद सेठ से मलूक दास बन गए ।

संत मलूक दास जी का एक दोहा बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध है – 

           अजगर करे न चाकरी , पंछी करे न काम ।

           दास मलूका कह गए , सबके दाता राम     ।।

There lived a Seth in a village. His name was Malook Chand. There was a Brahmin's house near his house. Brahmins used to worship a lot. One day a Brahmin awakened Ekadashi in the night. Sitting all night, playing dhol, Manjire and singing bhajans. Due to which Malook Chand Seth, who lives in a nearby house, could not sleep throughout the night. He was disturbed by the sound of drums and manjirs. When he woke up in the morning, he told the brahmin that – You did not let me sleep all night. The whole night the sound of your bhajans and drums, manjirs kept coming in our house and I could not sleep properly. He told the brahmin a lot of lies. The brahmin said that yesterday there was awakening of Ekadashi. On Ekadashi, I do Bhajan Kirtan at night. Seth ji, if you did not sleep the whole night, you would have come to my house and indulge in bhajan kirtan and take the name of God. Malook Chand Seth said that if a person does not sleep properly at night, then how will he wake up in the morning and do not go to work, then what will he feed his family. And anyway I do not like this bhajan kirtan. The Brahmin said that God is the one who feeds, He takes care of everyone, He gives food to all. Then Malook Chand Seth ji said – Have you kept chanting the name of God? I myself earn and eat. I don't eat what your God has given me. I eat my earnings. Your God does not come to feed each one a little. Then the Brahmin said that - God fills everyone's stomach by making someone or the other only an instrument. That is what gives us the will power to work hard. A debate ensued between the Brahmin and the Seth. Seth ji said that - we earn and eat. The Brahmin said that God is the one who feeds. While there was a debate about this, a condition was made between the two. Then Malook Chand Seth said – then it is okay, prove your point. I will be hungry all day tomorrow. I will not eat food by myself. Let's see how your God will feed me? And if I win then you will have to give up this bhajan kirtan forever. The brahmin had full faith in his god. He said - OK, I accept your condition. The next morning, Seth did not eat anything and thought that if I stay in the house, then the family members should not feed him by insisting, that's why I go to the forest. Seth ji went to a forest and sat on top of a tree and said that now let's see who comes here and feeds me. Today I will win my bet and the brahmin will have to stop singing the bhajans, kirtan and drums for all time. Then I will sleep peacefully. He was thinking all this when an old lady came under that tree to graze her goats. She sat under the shade of that tree. The old lady rested in the shade of that tree. Then she felt that her goats had gone somewhere far away while grazing and she got up from there to see her goats. The old lady accidentally forgot her bag there. Or it can be said that it was the inspiration of God who accidentally forgot that bag there. Seth ji was climbing on the tree and was watching all this. Then after a while some robbers come there. They have a lot of stolen money. The robbers sit under that tree and are dividing their stolen money among themselves. Then their eyes fall on the bag lying nearby, then one of the dacoits says that - Sir, look, there is a bag lying here. Let's see it open. In it, three or four rotis were tied in a cloth. The robber says that - Sardar someone seems to have forgotten his food. We are hungry too, let's eat. Then the Sardar says that no, why would anyone forget his food in such a dense forest. It seems that someone has played a trick to get us caught, see if no one is around here. Maybe someone has mixed poison in these rotis, someone wants to kill us. So they all start looking here and there. Suddenly a robber's eyes fall on Seth, who is climbing a tree. The robbers ask Seth to get down. Seth refuses to get down or not, I will be sitting here today. Then all the bandits together forcefully take him down from the tree. And they say that tell me why are you sitting on the tree, you have mixed poison in this food so that it can kill us and take away all our wealth. Seth ji says no no, I did not keep this food. An old lady had come here and she has forgotten her bag here by mistake. Then the dacoits say that you are lying. If you have not kept this food and have not got poison in it, then show it by eating this food and prove your point. Let's show it by eating a roti out of it. Seth ji says that – No no, I will not eat roti at all today. The robber said how he will not eat, wanted to kill us by mixing poison in it and now we are saying eat food, then he refuses. The robbers forcefully capture him and forcefully put a piece in his mouth, but Seth does not open his mouth. So the robbers close his nose and open his mouth and feed him a piece of bread. Then the Sardar says that nothing happened to him after eating one roti. Looks like there is poison in the second roti. In this way, we also feed him the second roti and then in this way the third roti and the fourth roti. The four rotis forcefully feed that Seth. Seth ji thinks in his heart that – God has agreed, has accepted your Leela. When no one eats, he feeds them by forcefully killing them. Malook Chand Seth thinks that even if you come and feed as a dacoit, even if you are a devoteeAs in, you are the one who feeds. The robbers leave him. Malook Chand Seth comes to the fledgling Brahmin and asks for forgiveness with folded hands and says – Brahman God, you have told the truth. Your God is the one who feeds and if no one eats, then he feeds them by killing them. Malook Chand Seth's life had completely changed. Malook Chand Seth left his entire house and started singing the bhajans of God. And Malukchand became Maluk Das from Seth.

A couplet of Sant Maluk Das ji is very famous –

           The python does not work, the bird does not work.

           Das Maluka said, Rama is the giver of all.

Gyan Ganga | कहानी पंढरपुर की सच्ची कहानी। यहाँ आज भी साक्षात् भगवान खड़े है। hINDI STORY

 

पुराने समय की बात है । एक पुंडरीक नाम का एक व्यक्ति था । वह दांडीवन नामक एक स्थान पर अपने माता-पिता के साथ रहता था । वह अपने माता पिता की बहुत ही सेवा करता था । समय आने पर उसके माता-पिता ने एक अच्छी सी लड़की देख कर उसका विवाह कर दिया । विवाह के पश्चात पुंडरीक के व्यवहार में बहुत ही अंतर आ गया । वह अब सारा ध्यान अपनी पत्नी पर ही देता था । अपने माता पिता की सेवा नहीं करता था । पुंडरीक और उसकी पत्नी  माता – पिता को बहुत ही तंग करते थे । उनसे घर का सारा काम करवाते थे । एक दिन पुंडरीक के माता-पिता ने सोचा कि – अब हमारा यहां पर कुछ काम नहीं है । अब हमसे पुंडरीक के अत्याचार सहन नहीं होते , हमें काशी के लिए चल देना चाहिए । माता-पिता दोनों काशी के लिए पैदल चल दिए । रास्ते में उन्हें साधु संतों का एक काफिला मिला । वह काफिला भी काशी जा रहा था । बूढ़े मां-बाप उस काफिले में शामिल हो गए  । पुंडरीक की पत्नी ने कहा कि – देखो , तुम्हारे माता-पिता काशी यात्रा के लिए चले गए हैं । मुझे डर है कि तुम्हारे माता  – पिता सोने के जेवरात चुरा कर ले गए हैं और वे काशी जाकर उन्हें बेच ना दे । हमें भी उनके पीछे-पीछे जाना चाहिए । पुंडरीक और उसकी पत्नी भी घोड़े पर सवार होकर उनके पीछे –  पीछे काशी के लिए चल पड़े । रास्ते में उन्हें काशी जाने वाला काफिला मिला । उसमें ही उन्होंने अपने माता-पिता को देखा । जब रात्रि के समय काफिला रुकता , तो सब विश्राम करते थे । परंतु पुंडरीक अपने माता-पिता से घोड़ों की सेवा करवाता था । और उन्हें विश्राम नहीं करने देता था । उसके माता-पिता बहुत ही दुखी हो गए थे । वे सोचने लगे कि हम तो तीर्थ यात्रा के लिए निकले थे , लेकिन इसने हमारा पीछा यहां भी नहीं छोड़ा । जैसे ही रात्रि होती और काफिला रुकता , सब विश्राम करते  ।लेकिन पुंडरीक अपने माता-पिता से घोड़ों की सेवा और अन्य कार्य करवाता था । चलते – चलते काफिला  कुक्कुट स्वामी के आश्रम में पहुंचा । सब लंबी यात्रा करके थक गए थे । उन्होंने सोचा कि यहीं पर क्यों ना दो रात विश्राम कर लिया जाए । सब लोग रात्रि को सो गए । लेकिन पुंडरीक को नींद नहीं आई । वह सारी रात जागता रहा । आधी रात बीत चुकी थी । तब उसने देखा कि कुछ स्त्रियां पुराने मैले कपड़ों में आश्रम में प्रवेश करती है । आश्रम में जाकर उन्होंने साफ सफाई की । साधु-संतों के कपड़े धोएं  । पानी भर कर रखा और उसके बाद जब वे आश्रम से निकली तो उनके वस्त्र साफ –  सुथरे थे । आश्रम से थोड़ी दूरी पर ही  वे स्त्रियां गायब हो जाती थी । पुंडरीक को यह सब देखकर आश्चर्य हुआ । ऐसा ही अगली रात भी हुआ। पुंडरीक ने देखा कि वें स्त्रियां फिर मैले कपड़ों में आती है । साधु संतों की सेवा करती हैं । और जब आश्रम से निकलती है , तो उनके वस्त्र फिर से साफ-सुथरे होते थे । जब वे आश्रम से निकल रही थी तो पुंडरीक से रहा नही गया और उनसे पूछा कि – आप कौन है ? जब आप आई थी ,तो आप के वस्त्र बहुत ही मैले थें और अब आप आश्रम से जा रही हैं , तो आप के वस्त्र बहुत ही साफ हैं । इसका क्या कारण है ? उन्होंने बताया कि हम गंगा और यमुना आदि पवित्र नदियां है । जब तुम जैसे पापी हम में स्नान करते हैं , तो हमारे वस्त्र मैले हो जाते हैं और साधु संतों की सेवा करने से हमारे वस्त्र साफ हो जाते हैं । तुम भी बहुत ही बड़े पापी हो । क्योंकि तुमने अपने माता-पिता की सेवा नहीं की । और उन्हें इस यात्रा में भी बहुत कष्ट देते आए हो । उनकी बात सुनकर पुंडरीक को अपनी करनी पर पछतावा होने लगा । वह फिर से अपने माता-पिता का आज्ञाकारी पुत्र बनना चाहता था । इसलिए उसने जब अगली सुबह हुई , तो उसने अपने माता-पिता से हाथ जोड़कर क्षमा मांगी और कहा कि आप वापस मेरे साथ घर चलिए । मैं आपकी सेवा करके अपना जीवन सफल करना चाहता हूं । और उसने अपनी पत्नी को भी समझाया । दोनों पति पत्नी अपने माता-पिता को साथ लेकर चले । अब वह अपने माता-पिता की बहुत ही सेवा करता था । अपने माता-पिता को भोजन कराने के पश्चात ही दोनों पति-पत्नी भोजन ग्रहण करते थे । अब तो पुंडरीक की पत्नी भी अपने सास-ससुर के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करती थी । एक दिन की बात है कि पुंडरीक अपने माता-पिता के चरण दबा रहा था कि तभी श्री कृष्ण भगवान माता रुक्मणी जी के साथ उसके घर के द्वार पर आए । और पुंडरीक का नाम लेकर उसे पुकारने लगे कि पुंडरीक  बाहर आओ । पुंडरीक ने पूछा कि आप कौन हो ? तब भगवान बोले कि – मैं भगवान श्री कृष्ण हूं जिसका तुम दिन रात नाम जपते हो । पुंडरीक ने कहा कि –  भगवान मुझे क्षमा करना , मैं अभी बाहर नहीं आ सकता । मैं अपने माता-पिता के चरण दबा रहा हूं । जब वें सो जाएंगे , तब मैं आपके पास आऊंगा । भगवान श्री कृष्ण खड़े-खड़े थक गए और उन्होंने पुंडरीक से पूछा कि –  कितना समय और लगेगा । जल्दी बाहर आओ । तब पुंडरीक बोला –  भगवान आपको अभी और प्रतीक्षा करनी होगी । श्री कृष्ण बोले –  अच्छा ठीक है , मुझे कुछ बैठने के लिए आसन दे दो । तब उसने भगवान के सामने एक ईट सरका कर कहा कि आप इस पर खड़े हो जाइए । भगवान बहुत देर से खड़े –  खड़े थक गए थे । इसलिए उन्होंने अपने दोनों हाथ कमर पर रख लिए और उस ईट पर दोनों पैर को जोड़कर खड़े हो गए । भगवान ये सब देखकर बहुत खुश हो रहे थे । जब पुंडरीक के माता-पिता को नींद आ गई  । तब पुंडरीक ने जाकर भगवान श्री कृष्ण का स्वागत किया । श्री कृष्ण ने कहा कि – पुंडरीक मैं तुम्हारी मातृ और पितृ भक्ति से बहुत ही प्रसन्न हूं । बताओ , तुम्हें क्या वर चाहिए । पुंडरीक ने कहा कि–  नहीं भगवन , मुझे आपके दर्शन हो गए , मुझे इसके अलावा और कुछ नहीं चाहिए । तब श्रीकृष्ण बोले कि – नहीं पुत्र ,  मैं तुमसे बहुत प्रसन्न हूं और मैं तुम्हें एक वर देना चाहता हूं । मांगो तुम्हें क्या चाहिए ? तब पुंडरीक ने कहा कि –  भगवन ,  आप यहीं पर खड़े रहकर अपने भक्तजनों का उद्धार करें । तब भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने पुंडरीक और उसके माता-पिता को उसी समय मोक्ष प्रदान कर उन्हें अपने भगवत धाम भेज दिया ।  भगवान श्री कृष्ण का यही रुप श्री विग्रह के रूप में वहीं पर स्थापित हो गया । 

तो भक्तों, भगवान श्री कृष्ण अपने उस श्री विग्रह में विट्ठल  विठोबा कहलाए । विट्ठल भगवान एक शंकु के आकार का मुकुट पहने हुए हैं । उनके कानों में मछली के आकार की बालियां हैं । भगवान श्री विट्ठल देव जी का श्री विग्रह आज भी धरती पर उसी जगह स्थापित है । आज भी भगवान वहां एक ईंट पर खड़े है। पुंडरीक के नाम पर ही उस स्थान का नाम पंढरपुर पड़ गया ।

भक्तों , इससे हमें यही शिक्षा मिलती है कि माता पिता की सेवा भगवान की सेवा से भी बढ़कर है । जो लोग अपने माता – पिता की सेवा करते हैं , उनसे भगवान हमेशा प्रसन्न रहते हैं ।

It's old time. There was a man named Pundarik. He lived with his parents at a place called Dandivan. He served his parents a lot. When the time came, her parents saw a nice girl and got her married. There was a lot of difference in Pundarik's behavior after marriage. Now he used to give all the attention to his wife only. He did not serve his parents. Pundarik and his wife used to harass the parents very much. He used to make them do all the household chores. One day Pundarik's parents thought that now we have nothing to do here. Now we do not tolerate Pundarik's atrocities, we should leave for Kashi. Both the parents left on foot for Kashi. On the way he met a convoy of sages. That convoy was also going to Kashi. The old parents joined the convoy. Pundarik's wife said, "Look, your parents have gone to visit Kashi. I am afraid that your parents have stolen the gold jewelery and they will not go to Kashi and sell them. We should also go after them. Pundarik and his wife also rode on horse and followed them for Kashi. On the way they found a convoy going to Kashi. It was there that he saw his parents. When the convoy stopped at night, everyone used to rest. But Pundarik used to get his parents to take care of the horses. and did not allow them to rest. His parents were very sad. They started thinking that we had gone for pilgrimage, but it did not leave us here either. As night fell and the convoy stopped, everyone rested. While walking, the convoy reached the Poultry Swami's ashram. Everyone was tired from the long journey. He thought that why not take rest for two nights here. Everyone slept at night. But Pundarik could not sleep. He stayed awake all night. Half the night had passed . Then he saw some women entering the ashram in dirty old clothes. After going to the ashram, he cleaned. Wash the clothes of the saints. Filled it with water and after that when she came out of the ashram, her clothes were clean. Those women used to disappear only at a short distance from the ashram. Pundarik was surprised to see all this. The same happened the next night as well. Pundarik saw those women again come in dirty clothes. Sadhus serve the saints. And when she left the ashram, her clothes were clean again. When she was leaving the ashram, Pundarik could not stay and asked her – who are you? When you came, your clothes were very dirty and now you are leaving the ashram, your clothes are very clean. What is the reason for this ? He told that we are holy rivers like Ganga and Yamuna etc. When sinners like you bathe in us, our clothes become dirty and our clothes get cleaned by serving sages. You are also a great sinner. Because you did not serve your parents. And you have been giving them a lot of trouble in this journey too. Hearing his words, Pundarik started to regret his actions. He again wanted to be the obedient son of his parents. So when she came the next morning, she apologized to her parents with folded hands and asked you to come back home with me. I want to make my life successful by serving you. And he explained it to his wife also. Both husband and wife took their parents along with them. Now he used to serve his parents very much. Both husband and wife used to take food only after feeding their parents. Now even Pundarika's wife used to treat her mother-in-law well. It is a matter of one day that Pundarik was pressing the feet of his parents when Shri Krishna accompanied by Lord Mata Rukmani ji came to the door of his house. And taking the name of Pundarik started calling him that Pundarik should come out. Pundarik asked who are you? Then God said that - I am Lord Shri Krishna, whose name you chant day and night. Pundarik said that - God forgive me, I cannot come out now. I am pressing on the feet of my parents. I will come to you when he sleeps. Lord Shri Krishna got tired of standing and asked Pundarika – how much more time would it take. come out early Then Pundarik said - Lord you have to wait longer. Shri Krishna said – All right, give me some seat to sit. Then he moved a brick in front of God and said that you should stand on it. Bhagwan was tired of standing for a long time. So he put both his hands on the waist and stood on that brick with both feet folded. God was getting very happy seeing all this. When Pundarik's parents fell asleep. Then Pundarika went and welcomed Lord Krishna. Shri Krishna said that – Pundarik, I am very happy with your maternal and paternal devotion. Tell me, what do you want? Pundarik said – No God, I have seen you, I don't want anything other than this. Then Shri Krishna said - No son, I am very happy with you and I want to give you a boon. Ask what do you want? Then Pundarik said – Lord, you save your devotees by standing here. Then Lord Shri Krishna gave salvation to Pundarik and his parents at the same time and gave them salvation in their God.

I sent This form of Lord Shri Krishna was established there in the form of Shri Deity.

So devotees, Lord Shri Krishna in that Shri Deity is called Vitthal Vithoba. Lord Vitthal is wearing a cone shaped crown. He has fish-shaped earrings in his ears. The Shri Vigraha of Lord Shri Vitthal Dev ji is still established at the same place on earth. Even today God is standing there on a brick. The place was named Pandharpur after the name of Pundarik.

Devotees, this teaches us that service to parents is more important than service to God. God is always pleased with those who serve their parents.

जिंदगी भर पाप किये। वेश्यावृति की। फिर भी क्यों मिला स्वर्ग | Gyan Ganga | hindi story

एक बार एक अजामिल नाम का ब्राह्मण था । जाति से ब्राह्मण होने के बाद भी वह बहुत ही दुष्ट प्रकृति का था । वह चोरी करता था । साधु-संतों को लूट लेता था । रास्ते में आते-जाते राहगीरों का सारा सामान चुरा लेता था । वह अपने माता-पिता को बहुत ही कष्ट देता था । वह बहुत ही दुष्ट संगति का हो गया था । वह हर रोज मदिरा का सेवन करता था । एक दिन वह नगर में घूमने गया , वहां पर उसने एक वैश्या को देखा । वह उस पर आसक्त हो गया और उसे अपने घर ले आया ।  उसने उससे विवाह रचा लिया । उस वैश्या से उसको 9 संतानें प्राप्त हुई । और 10 वीं संतान भी कुछ ही दिनों में पैदा होने वाली थी । एक  दिन अजामिल के गांव में कुछ साधु संत आए हुए थे । साधु संतों ने गांव के लोगों से कहा कि –  हमें भोजन करना है , अगर कोई अच्छा और भला सा घर हो , जहां का आचरण शुद्ध हो , जिस घर में लोग शाकाहारी हों ।  हमें ऐसा घर बता दो जहां हमें भोजन प्राप्त हो सके  ।  गांव के कुछ लोगों ने मजाक ही मजाक में अजामिल का घर बता दिया और कहा कि –  वह बहुत ही धर्मात्मा है , आपका वहां पर भोजन करना ठीक रहेगा । साधु-संत अजामिल के घर आ पहुंचे । साधु संतों ने अजामिल के घर आकर उससे भोजन के लिए कहा । लेकिन अजामिल तो उन साधु-संतों पर क्रोधित हो गया ,  परन्तु उसकी पत्नी ने उन साधु-संतों को प्रणाम करके भोजन कराया । साधु संत भोजन करके बहुत ही प्रसन्न हो गए और सोचा कि जाते – जाते इसका कुछ भला करके जाएं । साधु संत ने अजामिल से कहा कि अब तुम्हारी जो संतान होगी उसका नाम तुम नारायण रखना । अजामिल बोला –  ठीक है , इसमें नाम रखने में मेरा क्या जाता है । मैं नारायण नाम रख दूंगा । परंतु अब आप यहां से जाइए । साधु संत उसे आशीर्वाद देकर चले गए । अजामिल की 10 वीं संतान हुई और उसने उसका नाम नारायण रखा । अजामिल अपने छोटे बेटे से बहुत ही प्यार करता था । वह हर समय उसे नारायण नारायण पुकारता था । अजामिल अब बूढ़ा हो चला था । अजामिल की मृत्यु का समय आ गया था । यमदूत उसके घर आए । वह यमदूतों को देखकर डर गया और अपने बेटे नारायण को पुकारने लगा । उसका बेटा नारायण दूर कहीं खेल रहा था । उसे अपने पिता की आवाज सुनाई नहीं दी  । वह जोर-जोर से नारायण – नारायण कह रहा था कि – नारायण बेटा इधर आ , नारायण बेटा इधर आ । वह यमदूतों के भयानक रूप को देखकर कांप उठा था। वह नारायण नारायण चिल्ला रहा था । उसका बेटा तो नहीं आया । लेकिन विष्णु भगवान  के पार्षदों  ने जब सुना कि कोई नारायण नारायण पुकार रहा है । वें तुरंत अजामिल के पास पहुंचे । विष्णु भगवान के पार्षदों ने देखा कि यमदूत अजामिल के प्राण खींच रहे हैं । तब उन्होंने उन यमदूतों को रोक दिया और कहा कि  – तुम अब इसके प्राण नहीं हर सकते  और ना ही इसे यमलोक ले जा सकते हो । तब यमदूत कहने लगे कि –  यह बहुत ही बड़ा पापी है , इसमें जीवन भर चोरी , छल – कपट किया है । वेश्या का संग किया है । इसने अपने माता-पिता का सम्मान भी नहीं किया । इसे नरक भोगना पड़ेगा ।  तब विष्णु भगवान के पार्षद बोले कि – चाहे इसने जीवन भर कितना भी पाप क्यों ना किया हो , लेकिन अंत समय में इसने हमारे भगवान नारायण का नाम जपा है । इससे यह सभी पापों से मुक्त होता है । पार्षद बोले कि   भगवान का नाम बड़े से बड़े पाप को नष्ट करने की क्षमता रखता है ।  मनुष्य चाहे मजबूरी में या फिर गलती से भी यदि भगवान का भजन करता है ,  तो वह तुरंत उसी समय पाप से मुक्त हो जाता है । जिस प्रकार जाने या फिर अनजाने में ईंधन से अग्नि का स्पर्श होते ही वह जलकर भस्म हो जाता है , उसी तरह से अजामिल के सारे पाप नष्ट हो गए हैं । अब यह नरक में नहीं जाएगा । यमदूतों ने विष्णु जी के पार्षदों का कहना मान कर अजामिल को मुक्त कर दिया । और यमदूत वहां से चले गए ।  अजामिल यह सब देख और सुन रहा था  । इस सब को देखने के बाद उसके मन में भगवान के प्रति श्रद्धा भाव और भक्ति उत्पन्न हो गई । उसने सोचा कि सिर्फ भगवान के नाम का ही जब इतना प्रताप है , अगर मैं जीवन भर उनका भजन करता तो कितना अच्छा होता। विष्णु भगवान के पार्षदो ने अजामिल  को अपने साथ स्वर्ण के विमान में बिठाया । और उसे लेकर बैकुंठ धाम चले गए । अजामिल संसार के बंधनों से मुक्त होकर मोक्ष पा गया ।

Once there was a Brahmin named Ajamil. Despite being a Brahmin by caste, he was of a very evil nature. He used to steal. He used to rob the saints and saints. On the way, he used to steal all the belongings of the passers-by. He used to give a lot of trouble to his parents. He had become very bad company. He used to drink alcohol every day. One day he went for a walk in the city, where he saw a prostitute. He became enamored of her and brought her to his house. He married her. From that prostitute he got 9 children. And the 10th child was also going to be born in a few days. One day some sages were visiting the village of Ajamil. The sages told the people of the village that - we have to eat food, if there is a good and good house, where the behavior is pure, the house where people are vegetarian. Tell us a house where we can get food. Some people of the village jokingly told Ajamil's house and said that - he is very pious, it will be fine for you to eat there. The sages and saints came to Ajamil's house. The sages came to Ajamil's house and asked him for food. But Ajamil got angry with those sages, but his wife offered them food after paying obeisance to those sages. The sages became very happy after eating the food and thought that they should go and do some good for it. The sage saint told Ajamil that now you should name the child you will have as Narayan. Ajamil said – Well, what does it take to name me in this. I will name Narayan. But now you leave here. The sages left after blessing him. Ajamil had his 10th child and named him Narayan. Ajamil loved his younger son very much. He used to call him Narayan Narayan all the time. Ajamil was now old. The time had come for Ajamil to die. The eunuchs came to his house. He got scared seeing the eunuchs and started calling his son Narayan. His son Narayan was playing somewhere far away. He could not hear his father's voice. He was saying loudly Narayan – Narayan that – Narayan son come here, Narayan son come here. He was trembling at the terrible appearance of the eunuchs. He was shouting Narayan Narayan. His son did not come. But when the councilors of Lord Vishnu heard that someone was calling Narayan Narayan. He immediately approached Ajamil. The councilors of Lord Vishnu saw that the eunuchs were taking away the life of Ajamil. Then he stopped those eunuchs and said that – you cannot lose its life now nor can you take it to Yamalok. Then the eunuchs started saying that – This is a very big sinner, he has committed theft, deceit and deceit throughout his life. Associated with a prostitute. He didn't even respect his parents. He will have to suffer hell. Then the councilor of Lord Vishnu said that - no matter how many sins he has committed throughout his life, but in the end time he has chanted the name of our Lord Narayana. By this he becomes free from all sins. The councilor said that the name of God has the ability to destroy the biggest sin. Whether by compulsion or even by mistake, if a person worships God, then he is immediately freed from sin. Just as, knowingly or unknowingly, when the fire touches the fire, it burns to ashes, in the same way all the sins of Ajamila are destroyed. Now it will not go to hell. The Yamadoots freed Ajamil by obeying the councilors of Vishnu. And the eunuchs left from there. Ajamil was seeing and hearing all this. After seeing all this, reverence and devotion towards God arose in his mind. He thought that when only the name of the Lord has so much glory, how good it would be if I used to worship him for the rest of my life. The councilors of Lord Vishnu put Ajamil with them in a golden plane. And took him to Baikunth Dham. Ajamila got liberated from the shackles of the world and attained salvation.
